BP maybe got that part right.
i know people have a real sentimental attachment to their Jane quilts but its never been that way for me.

Jane is so well known in this area, its the birth place of the "Janiacs", and you can't go to a quilt show without seeing one, a guild having a raffle with one. etc - its just not special - everyone has one.

one of the guilds i'm in make a Jane quilt every year, so for me its like making a log cabin or a lone star (although harder) - it just another quilt pattern.

So, perhaps there can be a thread for that too, sort of the "DJ PDA" or "DJ Chit Chat/Comments". We can have the tutes, individual pics, etc. but keep them in the DEAR JANE CYBER SEW section along with the chat or whatever.
i'm ok with all of that - people can visit all or just some of the jane threads

i know you didn't and i wasn't trying to be difficult with you (i know sometimes people mistake my posts that way).

i was just trying to explain myself but i don't think i'm very good at that.

NYers are best understood when you can actually see them because our written word comes off with a tone thats not intended - not to mention we're great at talking with our hands.

we're a very expressive people.

to all,

if you think i'm being harsh in a post or to you, please say something to me (my feelings won't be hurt - i'd be more upset if you didn't say something).

99.99% of the time its not how i meant it to be read.

if you say something we can clear the air in that moment and be done with it instead of people thinking something else.

Hope that helps. Elle
I have Windows Vista will that work??
i'm not 100% positive but i believe Vista (insert MS) fixed Vista so that previous window based software would work on Vista.
I have vista and the only problem are the videos from brenda can't be viewed. you can get to the but it is a pain and confusing never remember how I did it. but the software works fine with vista

Thank you for your reply. Don't know how I missed this. Is there two different listing?

I think you are handling this very well. You have sooooo many posts and personalities to respond to. I agree sometimes we can all type something and in trying to keep the typing short it can come across as rude or curt. I also agree that if we keep communicating as you mentioned before someone gets upset that things will run very smoothly. We all need to understand how difficult it is to keep up with all of us asking something of you and how crazy that can get. Keep up the good work Klue we all appreciate you.

this thread is for hammering out the final details of the up coming DJ Cyber Block Party.

there's the Block Rotation List that everyone should give "the once over" look for mistakes (we've found a few) and voice any concerns you might have over the list.

we're also discussing the details of how to put up the posts on the forum and having a Flicker account.

right now we're at

1) each week i'll put up the thread for the blocks "to do" along with tutes, as needed - this will be in the tute section of the forum

2) each week we'll have 1 thead is the pic section of the forum for everyone to post their pics of the blocks for that week.

3) a general DJ chit/chat thread for people to talking about whatever - we haven't come up with a location for this thread yet and whether its a new thread every week or a long running thread.

4) set up 1 Flicker account that we all have access to. we'll each create our own albums and we'll posts all the blocks pics there too. this way people can see the Cyber work as collections.

well, you take NYer and a scientist and wrap that into one person and you end up with someone who's very direct and a little bit of a social misfit.

thats me, everything is reduced down to a "need to know" conversation.

but if you ever want to deconstruct or over analyze anything - i'm your girl.

DH and i can talk for 3 hours deconstructing one song or one quilt.
