Welcome to the Quilting Board!

I love your block Linda, I wouldn't change it either!

Linda, I agree your block is beautiful and displays the warmth of the Aug. sun. I wouldn't remake it.
Thanks for all your kind comments! I think my block looks like some sort of American Indian symbol, but I can't place which one. My grandmother was Am. Indian - I wish I could have learned more about her culture before she passed. (I am the only one in the family that got all recessive gene traits from my father- I look Irish instead of Am. Indian - the rest of my family looks Indian!!! I was always so jealous!)
Maybe I should do a quilt with Indian symbols in honor of my grandmother. I named my vintage Singer 201 after her...

Here are my August blocks!
Exploding Star block:
I didn't think it would look like August in purple (plus, I did not want to make another one), so here are my August flip-flops. The colors are off. It is purple, light green, and yellow.:

Bibliostone: I love the sun in the center of your block! The flip-flops goes right alone with the theme of summer sun. Wonderful
Bibliostone: love the Purple Sandals and your Sun is also very Sunny for the Beach..![]()
