    Here is my Houses BOM 2011 quilt finished! I posted it in "pictures" but wanted my quilting buddies on this project to see it too.

    Nice job, Mimi, and congratulations on finishing! I completed my top with a bunch of paper pieced blocks as sashing, and now just need to quilt it.

    i have to ask you where did you get the picture of your lighthouse as your avatar. i love lighthouses and am hoping that it is a block that i could possibly get a copy for. it truly is amazing. any luck. thanks rachelle

    Hi Rachelle, that is one of my favorite blocks, and I also enlarged it and included it in my 2011 BOM Houses quilt. The patterns is free, from a Dutch website.     thanks nicky my comp. translates from any language to english so i am lucky there. i have not done any paper piecing yet but i bought an online class and will sit and take it as soon as i am finished my cataract surgery in the next few weeks. wish me luck and thanks so much p.s. can't wait to see your quilt with it on there.

    Mimi..........your quilt turned out absolutely Gorgeous!! I just Love it & am so proud of you & your work. I am still working on mine, as I needed more than 12 blocks, but am getting anxious to get it put together too. I hope everyone looks at your lovely quilt & is inspired to get their's finished too.     It is beautiful! Thanks for posting the pictures. I never finished mine but seeing this makes me want to get mine back out. I love the yellow, white and blue-so cheerful.
