I love needle turn applique and do it a lot, but I decided to jump in and do a raw-edge machine thingy...well my turkey is skinny and funny looking but he stays in my calendar quilt anyway! Just because he was so much fun to do and was my first machine applique!! Bless his funky little heart.....

Now that's a smug little turkey. Too small for anyone to want for Thanksgiving. He will survive and make you smile every time you look at him.

Lots of fun looking turkeys ladies.. Im still stuck on Octobers block. I have been working on gifts for Christmas. Need to take a day and get October and November done. 
I'd like to say time to get busy..lol but I have been busy. This quilt is so close to being done so I need to stay on top of it..
