Thanks so much for the idea. I hadn't thought of that. I will have to get it out of the trash can and finish it up. It would make a great hostess gift.

I just finished the first triangle (not pictured) and trimming that one to size is scary, too. I have the DJ triangle ruler and it shows the 1/4" seam allowance, so I guess I can forge ahead and trim exactly the size of the ruler. Someone please stop me if that sounds wrong.

If you have the DJ triangle, don't you have the square as well? The square is the trim size. It is 5" square for a 4.5" finished block.
