Gladys, your curves look great! Glad you enjoyed doing them too. I felt the same way and have kept putting off trying to do curves...but I am glad to be learning new things here.

Aneal, wonderful blocks for this week...I am impressed at those who are keeping up with the schedule...I hope to catch up one day. So neat to be able to look at others blocks as I try to sew mine.

I am enjoying any and all hints from those who are posting them!

Hi Cindy -- I use a lot of pins -- matching the first and last corners (marking pins) and wherever there are seams that come together. I push the pins straight thru and fasten the 2 sides together with pins that are not near the sew line. As I sew, I pull out the "marking pins" It can make for slow sewing but the sections come together right.

If this doesn't make any sense, PM me and I can send you pix of the way I do it

I enjoy pp, too, but with these blocks I have to join several sections and end up with a seam going crooked. Does that make sense? In other words, I divide the blocks into several pieces that seem to make sense and as I add the larger sections together I have trouble getting them lined up properly and things go wonky. Any advice from you - or anyone - greatly appreciated.

I try to be careful of the 1/4" seam, and I thought I was a better pp.

B-5 Hot Cross Buns My points aren't too good here, but are getting better on next blocks, where I need points. Hints from other members have really helped me.

Hello, Spartan Quilter!
Those blocks are so great! And you and you are giving me ideas on how quiltear each block!
Thank you very much for sharing your photos!
As told in the personal thread of my photos will not serve my file if you don't have the "Microsoft Visio ®" program.
But I couldn't download the clean scheme as a JPG file that accompanied here for download.
There can someone explain us how to insert photos with another more common program.
I hope to really make the diagram with your photos!
A hug!

Okay, I am a bit behind...here is week 7

I have a question about B-11. I followed the pattern on the CD. The total size of the square turned out a bit too small in one corner. What was the difference in the way That Quilt offered directions? Did anyone try both ways and if so, which turned out better?

Linda, those blocks ... are so beautiful! I love them!
I did not make this block yet. But I think that those who are members of our group, have done you very well and are very similar to the real Jane!I do not understand the written directions, but can follow sequence of photos, so I think I will try the Tutorial for That Quilt.
A big hug!
