My Delaware block. Can't believe another month is finished! Will post all four later this week.

Am thinking of joining this BOW..will order book from amazon...question - those who have purchased the foundation factory software to go with this...have you found it to be helpful and worth the price? Am thinking of adding that to my shopping list. Thanks for info.

Hi, Geri, I'm late joining in, too. I have the software and I'm making my blocks 8" instead of 12" and I think it's probably easier to do that with the software, but I could probably accomplish the same thing by copying the patterns on my printer and reducing the size.

I purchased both and am glad I did. The software makes it easy to print on my computer and the book gives sizes to precut fabrics. I make up little kits of the stars (about 5 or 6 ahead). Then I can quickly sew them. Welcome to the group. It's fascinating to me to see the different colorways and what an impact they have on the stars.

GeriB I also purchased the Foundation Factory to go with my book and it has made it so easy to resize these blocks. I am making mine 10 inches. If you want to make the blocks 12 inches then I would not purchase it but with it you have so many options available to you.

Look forward to seeing your blocks

Thanks for the info on the software. I think I don't need it as I plan on doing the blocks at 12", less stress, more fun!
( I hope!)

I have the book and the software. I love the software, i am making the blocks 12 inches, but it makes printing so easy. I also had the book spiral bound, which has made working with it, much easier
