Sorry, I lied earlier. It should have been FOUR 5" and FOUR 3 1/2".

I just ordered the book and will be so excited to join this group! One of the reviews says that some of these stars have 60 pieces! One a week is quite enough for me. I am in the middle of a mystery quilt that is taking everything I have to keep up. It will be over in the first couple of weeks in January so I should be fine. Looking forward to it! Thank you for the wonderful idea!

Put me down as a maybe.....I have a few other big projects I want to do next year. I've had this book for a while and saw a real nice quilt done with these blocks.

Looks like we may have a really nice group going. The more the merrier. To let you know my plan, I am going to use a focus fabric with many colors so that I will have a lot of choices in accent and background colors. That is the plan anyway. Also for those who want to join but don't have the book, I have been told that Amazon has used books that are in excellent condition and reasonable too.

Sounds like a great idea! I've had the book, and only done a couple of the stars.
