No pressure, just not gettin' er done over here! I have not really set foot in my sewing room for nearly two weeks and boy do I feel the withdrawals. I was up to my eyeballs with sick kids in my house and now I am finally remembering why BOMs were always so hard for me... I can never keep up . I am loving seeing everyone's blocks though and intend to keep going even if I am still only on California (which is but two seams away from being finished). I am planning to cook my husband's favorite meal to bribe him for some sewing time this weekend, so perhaps I will finally have something to share with the group!

Meanmom - loving the block - that bright red/pink really is striking. Great job!

I haven't posted because I cut the tip of my left index finger off several days ago and I still can't face going back into the sewing room. It will take a few days to get my courage up and some finageling to cut out pieces again. Will just enjoy everyone's beautiful work for awhile.

I've been looking at and contemplating on an "Easy Quilter Frame" and woohoo, the wonderful lady agreed to take a lower price for it. Soooo I'll get to pick it up next week and practice on it. Wish me luck on that endeavor because it will be a hoot to see my first trials.

I have Hawaii in my mind and part way on my table but that is all the hula that has been accomplished.

Happy Friday y'all

Sounds like 'LIFE' has taken over for some you.

Janey, I'm cringing just thinking about your finger. Did it happen in the sewing room? Hope it wasn't too much. Good luck healing. Many years ago I took a bit of flesh off my index finger on a table saw. Makes me shudder to think about it.

Meanmom, love the colors in your Idaho star. Your rainbow fabric is going to pick up every color. It's beautiful.

Thank you. 1st Row - Upper left block is Indiana, then Iowa
2nd Row - Bottom left block is Kansas, then Kentucky.

Default Better late than never...

Okay... so I couldn't decide on a color scheme. My husband was supposed to be laid off from work so I wasn't going to buy fabric. Husband got a job, I got batiks and now I am roaming around Delaware. Haven't been to the other states yet. I have done very little paper piecing so I wanted an easier block to start. Here goes nothing.
