Tomilu, I'm so glad you made it thorough the weather. What a crazy week for your area.

Great blocks MonaLisa, PokerDiva, Tomilu, wvhill, and paintmeJudy. Mine looks so different that I had to check to see if I was on the right week.

Here's a song to sew by this week. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qoymGCDYzU

Tomilu...glad you are safe and sound...sorry to hear about your area though as it will be a very difficult time for friends and families I'm sure.

Everyone is looking good.

well, here's my Kansas---it went together so nicely---all the (outer) points perfect---then the dog-gone center is so off---i took it apart & re-did it 3 times---then just walked away---i pinned- it looked perfect then stitched & way off!!! ooooohhhhh i'm so over it!
but at least it's done----maybe next week will be better

ckcowl, maybe this will work for you -- it does for me. I always start at the middle when sewing the 2 halves together. Pin to make sure your pieces are dead on together, then sew to one edge, come back and sew from the middle to the other edge.

Tomilu, so glad you & your family are safe and sound.

Love everyone's blocks. Great job everyone.

I spent the weekend with my sisters celebrating the middle one's birthday (there are 4 of us). Had a great time shopping, playing dominoes, talking & watching movies. Just got home (it's about a 2 1/2 hr drive) so wanted to post my blocks. Here are the blocks I finished last week. They are: Row 1: New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico,
Row 2: New York, North Carolina, North Dakota. These were all pretty easy to complete. Hope everyone has a great week.

Default Iowa and Kansas

I'm a little bit behind, but I caught up. So here is my Iowa and Kansas. Everyone elses blocks are beautiful and I will love seeing what everyone does with their blocks. Hopefully I can keep up from now on, but if not, I'll catch up again.

Glad everyone is safe.
