As usual Nicky, yours is a winner. You must have quite some stash.

Florence, I am here! I can post two more if you like, as I am two ahead. The ladies must be busy with their summer stuff. I guess I can be grateful that I live in a place that is like being on vacation.

Thank you Florence. Because I do a lot of paper piecing, I buy 1/2 yd lengths of focal fabrics that catch my eye, and also blenders to go with them. It is starting to add up rather than get used up! I have a gallon baggie for each color group, to make it easier to grab fabrics.

Just checking in, but don't have any pictures for you. I got back from my vacation, ended up 4 days extra, thanks to the airlines. But had a wonderful, and very expensive trip. My sister has some wonderful quilt stores around her, and of course we hit them all. This week we are having floors put in what will now become my "Playroom" So I won't be getting back to my sewing until I have the room reorganized. But I'm keeping up with the posts here. I did decide while at my sisters that I am going to make 3 lap size quilts out of the stars. One for my son, one for my daughter and one for me. I still have to make more so I will be posting at some time soon. Glad to be home and am dying to get back to sewing.

I am hoping to catch up soon. It has been an extremely busy summer. I almost need to go back to work to relax. I have been trying to get my mom hearing aids all summer. We have been back 14 times so far, still not working right. We complained and they upgraded them and we are still having trouble. We are going to their specialist today. My son has been visiting from Japan for a month (in the Navy) and his wife was here for a week. I have had my cute grandson who is 2 years old a ton because my daughter is moving out of town. My niece had a premie so I have been trying to help her out some too. I go back to work on Wednesday. I scheduled myself a massage tomorrow. I hope I can make my appointment. I haven't even set foot in my sewing room in 2 weeks. I am hoping I can get in some sewing therapy tonight. Not sure though as I have tomatoes to can and raspberry jam to make.
I am dying to get back to sewing and my stars. I am also trying to make a Dear Jane and a baby quilt for my nieces premie. (maybe I need a drink to go with the sewing therapy)

My my, everyone is so busy but glad you are keeping up with the thread. Summer is a really hard time to get anything done. I am leaving tomorrow for a three day camping trip so I know what everyone means. Looking forward to seeing stars when you can get to them but enjoy vacations and visiting kids and wonderful new floors. And 3 lap quilts sounds like a wonerful idea.
