Meanmom, grandkids are suppose to be spoiled by us that is just the way it is. My grandkids are all older. Have to wait now for som ggkids to spoil.

I am sending my to a LAQ. To big for me to do anymore and I don't want to mess it up. I am not that great of a quilter and this took me way to long to screw it up now.

PokerDiva, your last three were great. I like the way you did Washington. Final quilt, priceless.

I haven't been able to keep up with my own stars but I've stayed on the side watching. All of you have made beautiful stars. Mine are calling me. I still have a star plan! I must say I LOVE PokerDivas! Each week I have been amazed at the different colors she brought out of her focal fabric. I just love it. I have yards of the print and wish her stars were mine!

Washington. Don't look too close. I'm running low on some fabrics and I had to piece the pieces. I may do this one over. Washington: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20ZffI6by3A

SheriR, Glad to hear from you 'cause I was feeling a little lonely with so many people finished. I went back and looked at Alabama to see what your "scheme" was and really liked your colors. It definitely has been "the year of the stars." Or...a star of a year.

Florence, that is so pretty. And I am glad you had enough focus fabric for your border. That just sets it all off even more.

As you know, I am doing mine in QAYG sections. These are more manageable than the whole thing would be. Here are a few pics so far.

I have 2 more sections to quilt, and then the rest of the assembly. I assembled 4 sections today and it went well.

Thanks everyone. Yes I am glad it is done. Sue, I see nothing wrong with your Washington. Looks great to me. Nicky, you are doing a great job on your QAYG. I really need to learn how to do that. Sheri, when you do get back to making your stars. Please post pics. We will all be around and would love to see them.

Hi All

I have been watching on and off all the stars come together,, They all look great, and how different they look in different colours. One day I would like to get the book and try it. Hope to see all the finished quilts.

I have enjoyed watching everyones stars as they have been done. I just love how changing the color combos makes them look so unique. I have my top together just need to add borders. So glad this thread was started. I really enjoyed making all the stars. I hope to get the Quilts for Rosie book next and start them. Can't wait to see the finished quilts. Also, thanks for all the kind comments on my stars.
