Aneal they are looking good. They are kinda addicting. You just can't wait to see the next one and have to keep making the next one. I was going to enter mine in the county fair. But life got in the way and I never got it entered. I love how mine came out. I had my longarmer quilt all of the state names in my sashing. They are not lined up with the state block and are all different fonts. I love it. Can't wait to see yours finished. It is going to be beautiful.

Meanmom, I fell in love with your background fabric and your quilt is just gorgeous
I searched a long time before I found my background fabric and I wasn't sure because there wasn't enough of one fabric so I bought gold and silver stars. But I guess it will be ok.

Anael I too searched a long time for my background. I wanted a neutral but not boring. I was actually searching for a dark purple when I found mine. It is dark blue with tiny bits of some purple and pink swirled in it. Yes it is hard to find enough of some fabrics. I thought I was going to have to search for more on line. Luckily the LQS had 2 bolts of this fabric. Your stars are beautiful.

Anael, you are really going to town on your blocks. Good job. I entered mine in the county fair this week and won a 1st, Best in Dept, and Best in Show. I'm happy.
