I had a look Ann Clare and it is beautiful. I love the colours you have used and the purple border. Great work.

Beautiful Ann Clare! I too love the purple border.

It has been busy around here, and not in a good way. Both DDs got colds, then pink eye, then one DD did a repeat on the pink eye and DH got it. Finished up with that and oldest DD came home with lice from school. Just finished with that but it hasn't left any time for AOTH.

I did get my inner and outer border fabric last week. Not sure how I will do my outer borders. I might just applique my usual way instead of reverse.
I have also posted pictures #16, 17, and 18. Opinions are appreciated.

Oooh, I love your fabric! The one for the inner border gives you lots of choices, what part are you going to use?

Thanks for the compliments on the fabric. It was available last fall. The info on the salvage reads - French Floral by Fabri-Quilt, Inc Design #9255. I hope that helps. If the colors on my screen are accurate, it would be perfect for the block above.

It was cut for me last fall, but a family member planning to come visit picked it up to save on the shipping. She got into town 2 weeks ago. It was worth the wait! Haven't decided which part to use for my border. When I have finished the innner blocks I will lay it out and post pictures!

WOW!!! Cre8 - your block is spectacular! This block is my favorite of all of them. I love how it's NOT made from 4 identical quardrants.

Well, it's Easter weekend, but time marches on. This will be week #45 and our last border that needs to be constructed. There is a final border to tidy up the whole quilt, but with this week, you are finished with the applique.

Heading over to look at pictures.

Blessed Easter and Happy Stitching!

Thx Kathy & Sandpat!! Happy Easter to all [and Passover to those who celebrate as Christ did for many years ] ... my dad died 45yrs ago today - wow - I was almost 15. Dad was an extremely faithful ... opera composer, church music director, voice teacher, piano teacher and tuner, and philosopher... Time flies so much faster as we age - there have been many many joys [and some not so much] I always do reflect on the times that have made me smile and take in the beauty of our surroundings and the love that we have been blessed with - especially at this time of year.

Have a great one!!

can't believe you ladies are almost done!!! Wow - I will have to take the time to look at pics - have they been posted on picture site or should I go back through the pages??? Someday I will get there [on my 15th block]- gotta get cookin for Easter and nurture this knee MRI tuesday - think I have a torn cartilage - cant sleep ...
