Default I thought pictures might help for pressing

This is what I did so the blocks will nest when the are sewn together. I'm sure there are better ways...will adjust tris later. Thanks SheriR for the tips!

iPhone pics aren't the best. Sorry.

Everyone's quilts are so pretty-love the different colors. I am late in doing this one but did get most of the fabric pulled and into the box with directions. I only had a dark gray in the stash and am determined to use it. Will update the corrections- Thanks.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Candi, I think that article will help a lot when I start the triangles. I love the lime greens you guys picked. I ended up going in a different direction because when. Looked at the color card, I didn't like that particular shade, so I went with orange instead. I'm nervous about my choice now. I just finished all the sewing and cutting that I hadn't done so I can start assembling the blocks and the triangles. I think I will start with step 8 and go back to the triangles in 7 so I can gain some confidence . I just finished sewing my flying geese to the bw rectangles and to the turquoise flying geese. I was very nervous because I had asked for trimming help and although my flying geese were the prescribed size I didn't realize that I would need a good 1/4 inch at the top to maintain the point...yikes! But I'm pretty sure I didn't lose the point on any of them! I'll post a pic as soon as I get a block sewn. I still have a little bit of pressing to do.

Clue number 4, instead of 145 (bonnie's green) squares it should be 165.

I've began assembling this morning on my Horizon 8900, what a dream machine.
I pieced all the components on a 1947 White Rotary. Also a very nice machine. It just won't milk the cows and do the laundry like the 8900...
How long have you had your 8900? I am looking at the 8200 and wondering what the "extras" are on the 8900, besides a lot more built-in stitches.

I asked that at my LQS the other day and she highlighted that the larger pedal and the pedal thread cutter aren't available nor is the magnifying glass. It does have the 9mm width stitch. That with few decorative stitches. Same size harp. Kalamaquilts probably has more to share.

I still have a way to go, but wanted to show I'm still making progress on Easy Street, but the final step is going a bit slow. Up until now, I was on top of each step, but now that it's time to turn all the small blocks made earlier, it's taking a bit of time. As some others have mentioned, some of the seams don't always snug up as nicely, so there is a lot a bulk in some areas, but I'm working at beating them down with the iron and Mary Elen's Best Press!
I'm hoping to at least have all the piecing done within a week or so, then on to the sandwich and quilting - YEA!
Good luck to everyone else on this - I'm looking forward to seeing them all!

I've finished my top and I'm deciding on borders. I think I've over posted. So my next pic here will be my FINISH!! I've loved doing this mystery. I've learned so much.

pj - your quilt looks just like mine! I wonder why (same colors)! Yes, this stage is slow going for me too. I double check and triple check to make sure the foursies are going the correct direction. I have 12 more Block A's and 7 more Block B's. I try to do two a day, but don't think I'll get my second one done today.
