Just want to share my little progress with you all today, I officially have all of my blocks and triangles pieced and now I need to put the blocks together, my least favorite part of quilt making lol. I did the 3x3 layout, and it is plenty wide but I'd like it a bit longer for a couch quilt, yup we are tall here lol. Without borders, this layout finishes at about 64 inches, I would like it to be a rectangle and finish a bit longer so I am thinking about top and bottom applique borders..once I put it together I will audition ideas...gives me motivated

Sorry for the crooked pic lol.

Candy, that turned out great! I'm anxious to see what you do with the borders, you have some great ideas.

Looks great! I love your colors. I haven't done mine yet but it will be a smaller size too so I'm anxious to see what you do with the borders. I like rectangular quilts better than square.

Thanks ladies.
Quilts4fun, I like square quilts for walls and don't mind them on beds, but for couch throws and such I feel I need my quilt to resmsble my shape which is definitely closer to rectangle than square lol. Hoping to start putting the blocks into rows today. And I have an idea for floral applique on borders, will draft it sometime this weekend. Really wish my weekend has about 59 more hours haha.
