Now that's a good idea! I had the most trouble with the basket one. I have several of those.

Mine is # 13. It is 7 inches! am considering putting it in a corner & making my sashings smaller. maybe I will let it alone for a while and eventually take it apart again

Ohhhhh, I love the Christmas blocks. I have 15 blocks done. I think I will do a couple more today, it's dark and rainy and I have finished reading another book by Cookson.

I am going home now and tonight I'm once again attempting #7. I'm going slowly and using Honchey's ideas above.

Will let you know how it goes tomorrow.

You're right number 7 and 13 are both bears. But I feel I should tell you to prepare yourself for number 18. I didn't understand the lay out so I tweaked mine.

I worked on #13 for 3 evenings in a row. Finally I threw it down and told my husband I was going to have to finish it later! The next evening I picked it up and finished it. I have no idea how many times I ripped it out and started over. Thought I would never get all the points together.

I've done a quilt based on the same design. Make all the outside triangles that you add to the end of each row larger. The excess gets trimmed off after the block is completed--you will have very nice points.
