DP9, CarrieM, looks great. I use yellow to brighten or 'pop' a block...but not in the New York State block coming up in 2 weeks...for some reason the author used Yellow for the center of the star...not me in our Flag, it is symbol of the home of the brave and free, not cowards that the yellow implies. Oh, I know some religious groups do not say the Pledge of Alliance any more in schools, and even fail to stand in honor of those who died defending our freedoms. My grandfather, father, and dh served in the armed forces and I do not think that is right. Millions of Americans lie in graves across the sea that never came home to live here again...

Anael, Your quilt turned out great ... your hand quilting is impressive! Carriem, I have 2 0f the fabrics in your DNP and look at them once in awhile wondering what to do with them...Now I know...I have made several of the DNP...so easy...haven't quilted them..just tops...some day maybe..H.

Anael ... what a lovely quilt, all finished! Your quilting in the border looks very even and such a pretty design. Sorry, I can't tell if it's hand or machine quilting? Your SITD will stabilize the sandwich. About more quilting, what distance does your batting say? That'd be your big determination, I'd think.

Thanks all for your kind words. It's machine quilted on my Bernina. My batting doesn't say a word! I bought it on a 50 meter roll and it came without instructions. It's a polyester batting.

Anael, you block turned out great. Such an inspiration. I plan to make several out of my PC blocks and your setting is a great idea.

Carriem...your D9P has such wonderful colors especially the larger floral in your big squares.

Oh Carrie, I just love your D9P with a twist. That is an awsome looking quilt. Can hardly wait to see it with the borders on.

Carrie...it took me a couple of looks to find the twist. How clever. I love the colors you've put together.

What lovely starts and finishes! Congratulations everyone!
After cleaning the sewing room and then sharing my projects with family members I need to tidy up the area again
But family members went home with some small quilts which means I have an excuse to make more!! Can't wait to get caught up on the PC now and plan on working on the FWS as well.
