Oh that is too cute. Hey, I have some tiny acorn fabric-PM me if you'd like some. Great job on those points!
I pray for peace today and hope I don't have to tomorrow.

OKSGlad ... Mr. Squirrel is just too darned cute! No doubt he's hoarding fabric scraps for a cozy and cuddly nest!

    Once again, QNSue ... outstanding!
I'm so happy to see that you have used a "real" photo! And I suspect there'll be more.
Might this be your DH? or brother? or?
Great greenery around him ... and the barn doors and stone foundation even!!
Are you planning the brown for your sashing?

Cowboy is Grandmother Carrie's great nephew; in 1958. I was in HS...I could walk and ride at the same time on Starlight. Undecide on background material, just the blocks to the far left side are going to have "green" in them...going green making "green cripped hay" for the horses. Modern farm terms of reconditioning the hay instead of mowing it down as we did in the olde days...the hay has better flavor and nutruitents by today's method.

QNinaSue-looks like alfalfa in ATD block. The barn siding reminds me of the wood on an livestock RR car.
I remember when Dad bought his first "crimper" (that's what we MW'ers called it) He pulled it behind the sickle mower. Helped the hay dry faster, too, especially if there was any red clover in the hay mix. Here's a pic of the type my son uses to cut our hay now. The long red arm pivots and swings out of the way when mowing, cuts a 13' swath compared to the 6' the sickle mower cut.Name: 1_4_5-H7230_004_M.jpg
