Anael I remember a long time ago I did a workshop trying to learn bobbin lace making. I never really mastered the art and do appreciate the long hours that go into making it.

Thanks Anael ... just like us, we celebrate the Queen's Birthday on Queen Victoria's, the Monday following the May 24th, her birthday. Most people do not know when Queen Elizabeth's is.

I did learn to make bobbin lace and mastered several of the different techniques but by far not all. You're right, it's very time consuming.

Thanks QNSue! The firecrackers fabric was a FQ I won a few months ago and I was waiting for the right block to use it. The colors are exactly the same as in the tulip fabric

Anael, when I see tulips I often think of Holland--so this is very patriotic for you! Pretty, pretty.

Thank you oksewglad. Funny thing is I don't have any tulips in my garden though I like them a lot! I used to have them in pots but that didn't work.

Oh I love tulips! I usually kill 'em though. Well maybe not me, maybe it's the W TX heat.
