Some familiar fabrics for many of you will be in these blocks.
First of all the "official" blocks for Week 25 ... then some unofficial ones, keeping the patriotic themes!

July Fourth to honour my American friends on this journey.
...John's Favourite would no doubt be his dairy cows and barn!

I wanted to make sure that blocks were created to represent all the homelands of our Pardners.
Please enjoy Anael's Tulips and MiraB's frog!
Thanks OKSGlad for the design work and sharing your pattern with all of us.

Onwards now to my Canadian representation with none other than our red maple leaf and beaver!
Now you are probably saying, why the Union Jack? being that we did not have anyone from the UK on these dusty trails. The significance is that at the time of the PC letters, our Canadian flag was the Union Jack. Our maple leaf flag was not adopted until 1965.

And alas, my LilIsaBram block! using Anael's pattern with two wee cowpokes, Oma's kitty, and a puppy! All playing down by the river, romping on the grand with the sun shining overhead!

And that my friends is how I spent my weekend!
Now at 59!!

Awesome!!! Your fabric and color choices make for such fun blocks. How many more? I am anxious to see more finished PCs. No wonder we didn't hear from you over the week-end--did you take time to eat or sleep? Great blocks!

Please tell me where you got the pattern for the beaver block. My sister has a covered bridge over a small stream. 2 yrs ago a few beavers built a dam that increased the small stream. Last summer there were over 100 beavers and the stream backed up to the size of a small lake. The beavers ate or destroyed so many trees that they had to start eating the telephone poles. Since beavers are a protected species, the Game Commission had to come and humanely remove 100s of beavers. BIL removed lots of their dams (damns) so lake is slowly receding. I would love to make a block in a wall hanging with a beaver so if you can point me to the pattern I'd appreciate it.
