Just heard an interesting thing about lightning. We may be only seeing about 10% of the actual strike when it happens. Much like an iceberg; no wonder why it is so dangerous.
How interestin'! I never knew that. Oh the things we learn on the board!

Anael ... you created a wonderful block there ... fabrics were bang on for it! Quite a 3-D effect created.

JeanieG ... a nice pair of blocks for your holiday memories! Did you get some serious FART shopping done with your friend?

We visited a couple of fabric/quilt shops in Anacortes, WA when we were there. Really did not do much shopping! I came home with a few new fabrics.

Oh I like that block, CarrieM ... and you have me really wishing I could head to my sewing machine and stitch one up!
That'd would make for a great matchy-matchy quilt top of just those blocks and fabrics.

I really like this one too. It was a lot of pieces so I can't imagine making a whole quilt out of these blocks however I agree it would look really neat.

It is amazing how many blocks I can get done in a week if I am not working on lots of other quilts in between! It is supposed to rain all day Saturday so I will have both Friday and Saturday to sew now...
