Default FWS Pony Club Quilt-Along Wk 5 Blocks "Best of All & Best Friend" DISCUSSION Page

Hello Y'all Ye L'il Cowgirls and Cowboy ...
(and there's always room for more Cowpokes to join the ride!!!)

First an update ... Honchey managed to get a message out to me via Stage Coach Express. She's still having problems with her computer and internet connections. I'm relaying her message to you, so you know she's riding along with us in spirit. And too, she's done a couple more blocks in her "spare" time!

I'm happy to help out in the interim ... though please know, I'll be glad when you're back with us Honchey!!

So folks ... come on and gather 'round the campfire and tell us your stitchin' tales!! And too, fess up as to what's that brewing over at the Cook Wagon!!

Yeehaw!!!!!!!!!

Sure glad Honchey has you for a backup, QE! Have you got your blocks done? I downloaded all the patterns for the blocks I am behind on. Wish I didn't take so long in fabric selection.--grrr
Hey, I stole an idea from QE--I've been cutting out 1 and 1 1/2 inch squares from my fabric choices so I can put them together in a little quilt to commemorate the yee ha journey.

*blush* ... though I 'll be quite content to have Honchey back in the saddle!!

Thanks for asking
OKSGlad ... and no I don't have any PC blocks done except A Dandy that I did the first week, then left the Posse, to finish up FWS. Now that my FWS blocks are done, I'm going to be into production this week for the PC. Will start with these two and then catch up on the missing seven, as I can.

THANKFULLY ... the two for this week look to be not so hard to do. Hardest part is the time to choose fabrics from the stash!

BTW Co-Riders .... watch our for that
OKSGlad ... she's quite the little conspirator!
(and thank you for your part in the conspiracy,
OK ... I'm glad you did!)

She looks around, once, twice, then declares, "Who, me?" She twisted my arm, didn't you hear me yelp!

I'm sew excited about these blocks! I've got the fabrics picked out & my freezer paper templates are all cut out. Tonight I'm ironing all the templates onto the fabric!

"..giggling" as i put a marshmallow on a stick & put it over the campfire. Ok I know that marshmallows aren't "cowboy" but it's what I think of when campfires come to mind.
Ya'll are so fun!

*steals DublB's stick complete with with marshmallow!!*

I must admit, I have been wondering if
Honchey's computer problems are linked to the fact that Cowboys don't do computers!!! (of course, the modern cowboy would have a BlackBerry!)

Thanks QE for taking over the reins for Honchey. Is that cowgirl lingo? Check out my blocks--you may recognize the ducks (or geese or swans, I'm not sure which). Thank you!
At our campfire tonight we had Minestrone--not too cowboyish. I'd really like a marshmallow right now!
