Carrie, those are terrific squares; I still cannot see the two different patterns, just by looking at them. Amazing how well they all fit together including the two new ones...wheel of fortune and friendship star...so happy you liked them.

Honchey, I do not understand why the moderator pulled the SYE cutting instructions that were not different from the other months of September through November. And you had permission to do so....someone who did not know that, pulled this months off the scene. We get the pattern from the source, QOTS, and cutting instructions from Mirabelle.
Someone new to moderating maybe who took it as a 'first' done that way. Good Luck at straightening out the problem.

Nope, QuiltE and Anael, cannot see that rule applying here...the rules were followed...like from the first in September...published by permission and site was sited dozens of times. Just my two cents worth.

I read the rules and this is the only one I could find which could apply.

I've quilted my Rosie The binding isn't on yet, I have to cut and sew it. I quilted an overall swirl. I'll post a picture when it's finished.

Great job Anael! I can't wait to see your Rosie finished.

QNS--the 2 different blocks are in the middle row...one you made me and then the one to the right with the orange "circle" around the star. The difference is that these two don't have a "circle" in the middle and the star is a little smaller. I think I will be able to work them into the quilt with no problems though.

Hi Mirabelle...I think they said that because it was the first or top of the thread...
I have written an email to Mary Pfeiler and explained the situation...I am waiting for a reply...being it's a holiday we have to be patient...This will be resolved...one way or another....

Hi Everyone...good news!!!

As far as Mary Pfeiler of QOTS doesn't see a problem with what we are doing on the SPIKE issue...She responded so quickly...I have forwarded the email to PatriceJ...I wait to hear from a moderator now...

Thanks Honchey for asking, good to hear they're ok with what we're doing.

I made a fabric box, part of the Project of the Month here on the board. I made this one for Isa. The buttons are cats and one button is a paw

Cute basket, Anael. I can see you putting a photo of it into her photo album to tell her the story down the road when she is older.

Here's what I've been working on the past couple of days...it is the center for a "medallion/round robin" quilt here on the board. We make our own centers and add our own borders. I've wanted to make a quilt like this for a while...I'll do QAYG as I add each border. The block is called Irises and Lions from quilterscache.com It's a 18" square.
