Thanks Karen! They don't need those smocks yet, they first have to double their weight and that will take some time. I thought I might use some of the flannels for making snuggles? What do you all think? Nice and warm!

Anael, trying to read back and find the size of the sheets you made for the twins, but failed to find it. What size are they, please?...I will look Monday for some flannel. Babies that small can go quickly to better, but scare you crazy when they go backward or down in their health...in a heart beat. Everyday of their life is a victory!! Take it one day at a time...or one hour at a time. And rest. And spoil your grandson a bit; he needs the TLC too.

I bought two lotto tickets in Iowa; so the state of Iowa can give the schools more money. First time in my lifetime or is it the second time?? DD is home schooling Dgs; we wonder how long she will continue to do so.....SIL has spoken...they need another child...I think God heard my prayers! Keeping my fingers crossed. No news yet.

Hope we are by the coldest part of the winter now; had to put my car into the garage when I got home. We had a time getting all the ice and snow off of it this morning...new windshield wiper got broken but NAPA replaced it at no charge.

Cake and Cinnamon Rolls are disappearing fast! Now, what am I going to do in the kitchen tomorrow??

QNS can I have some cold weather PLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEE, it is supposed to get to 98.6 today and the humidity is through the roof. 9am in the morning and I just did a quick trip to town, home in 20 minutes and I am perspiring already.
I was shocked at your electricity charges, my last one was $600 for 3 months and we run our aircon in the house all day and the bedroom all night
Mmmmmm what to bake tomorrow, I will leave that up to you, but I am sure you will have a lot of visitors in the RV for a taste test

Oh Anael ... {{{HUGS}}} ... ITA with QNSue ... enjoy every moment of these little ones and live for one hour, one day at a time. So good to know that Bram has settled again and picking up. It's good to see you're keeping focused on things to make for the little ones! How much fabric do you need to make each of the snuggles? I'm thinking they are in flannelette as well? Glad that all was "approved" and you got the go ahead to get into production with your designs!!! You're keeping busy, which is good ... but do make sure that you are taking time for you, and do some things for you, to keep your batteries re-charged!

Happy 2nd Week Birthday, Bram and Isa!

MiraB ... wow! Had never heard about the "legal" speeding in Aus! No wonder that anything else seems slow now! Here, the freeways are MAX 100km. General highways are 80km and then anything downwards from there according to the area. Now if only we could blend our two weathers together for an average!

JanRN ... you asked, how many? I did the official count tonight and have 50 done. If I go for 8x8, or 8x9 ... I'm closing in on the finish. Though it seems so far away, when I was celebrating awhile ago, when I was only going to do a 7x7 and was just a couple blocks short!

QNSue ... now that's exciting hopeful news! Good Luck with future DGS/D!! ...... and of course the lottery. When will you know? Are you all curled and prettied up after your day at the beauty parlour?

QNS, the sheets are 20" square. We do take it one hour at a time, always prepared to have to rush to the hospital but when they say to be prepared it's so scary!
Good luck on your lottery tickets! And hopefully your SIL has good news for you soon
No winter here anymore, it's raining every day I will be in the RV later today for coffee and whatever you baked

QuiltE the Northern Territory is a huge state with just 2 cities, 1 large town and 1 small town, and from Darwin at the top to the southern border it is 2000 kilometres. The distances go something like this, from the southern border to Alice Springs, 500 kms, Alice Springs to Tennant Creek (where we used to live) 505kms, Tennant Creek to Katherine 600kms and Katherine to Darwin 400 kms and the only thing in between are roadhouses for fuel and food etc.

The only good thing was that cars were kept in excellent condition but having to contend with caravans and roadtrains was a challenge. 1984 was our last year in the Territory and I drove from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs 13 times. DD was living in Alice Springs at the time.

Good news on Bram, we are all hoping that he continues to grow stronger. Take care of yourself Anael.

Now what has QNS baked for us ????

Wow mirabelle and here we are, complaining about a distance of 200 kilometres!

Bram had a quiet night, now Isa had problems breathing. They adjusted her ventilator, more oxigen I was watching Bram on telebaby at about 8.30 am when they suddenly turned off the camera. That got me worried! But no phonecall so I guess they were doing some kind of procedure we aren't supposed to watch.

Good news for Bram, and hoping Isa is doing better.
Got all the flannel washed, dried and ironed. It is sitting on the table waiting to go to the Post Office Monday, I hope it doesn't take too long to get to you. Will make sure it is sent AirMail and not slow boat to China...
