Mirab, your quilt is beautiful. Do you do your own quilting? I'm so impressed how you actually finish projects--I have so many waiting to quilt until I get over the fear of my Sweet16. I'm with Jeanie--I've never made a quilt with that many of the same blocks. I just love it.

Anael, I'm so sorry for all of the ups & downs. Hopefully soon the "ups" will be more often than the "downs". How are you maintaining your sanity?? Prayers coming your way.

JanieW, nice to hear from you and glad you're joining our PC Mystery Ride. Life can really throw a lot of crap our way at times. Getting back to sewing with our group may be a nice "vacation" for you from all that.

Bev, congrats!! You're a great aunt (in more ways than one). Enjoy the memories of your dad. My dad passed away 10 years ago and every year when baseball season opens I still go to the phone to discuss that day's games.

QE, no early Valentine's day FART. Still clearing things up with my mother's estate. All, please keep your fingers crossed: I'm supposed to get an offer on her house this week-end. Can't believe how difficult it is running 2 households.

Carrie, thanks again for handling the BBs. Like Anne and everyone, I'm watching for the mailman (and he's not to bad to look at either LOL).

Oh so many sighs for so many reasons.
mirabelle's iridescent Jamestown quilt evokes a pretty sigh.
Health concerns for babies and young families calls many "Oh dear I hope they manage" sighs.
"No BB's in the mailbox" sigh is heard all over--hope that changes to a yeah!!
"Oh I hope you get the offer" sigh
A yeah to Janie back with us for the PC trail blocks.
Now back to cleaning and my MD appt this afternoon. Just a routine one.

Having a bad morning: hair dryer started smoking just as I finished drying my hair, curling iron died so put hair in pony tail and decided to make a bagel. A raisin caught on fire in the toaster!! But then!!!!!!----the hottie mailman came with my Bonus Blocks!!!! Yay!!! I can't tell yinz how excited I am. Each one got an ooh and an aah. Can't wait til everyone receives theirs so we can discuss them. Yinz are awesome!!!! (Did I use enough exclamation points in this message?)
Thank you, thank you all!!

I got my BBs this morning. Each so individual and special. Putting them into a finished product will be a challenge.
Mirabelle...you inspire me. Someday I will be brave enough to begin actually doing FMQing. It adds such a dimension of beauty to the finished product.
Dubib...great no grand aunt! How fun that must be.
Anael...one hour at a time is such a victory right now. Praying for all of you as we'll as the assisting medical staff.
JanieW...glad to meet you. This group is so supportive and encouraging even if sewing gets pushed aside for a time. Stick with us.
OK...wish I could give you a hand with the cleaning and getting ready for Saturday. Two hands make light the work you know. Have you licked the cold?
JanR...praying that you get a good offer on the house. Time for that door to close.
carrie...THANKS!! Hope you're feeling better too.
i got the log cabin straightened out and am doing more of those today. Yesterday I did stitch in the ditch on a couple of the Jamestown blocks and have one entire row joined. So far so good.

no BBs here yet. I was 'hoping' they would come. To complete the PC top, I need to match this: the yellow-mustard with scratches of other colors in it....it is a Robert Kaufman fusion, but
not like anything that I can find. If you spot it, please asap me. thanks. I have the medium and and dark fabric, but need another yard to the yellow light fabric.

Bev, congrats on your Great Nephew!

Isa is quite swolen from the infection, she needs to pee a lot. The neonatologist hopes she will be back on the amount of food she got before the infection very soon. She needs it to grow. If nothing else happens all she needs is lots of time.
With Bram itīs another story. His fungus infection prefents him from breathing on his own. Theyīre giving him antibiotics, almost from the day he was born. Today they did make an X ray and it showed his lungs still are infected. If this fungus infection doesnīt go away he wonīt make it. Because he needs lots of rest my DS wasnīt allowed to hold him today.
So I`m going to make him very soft and warm snuggles with the flannel fabric mirabelle sent me, thatīs all I can do. Iīm still not allowed to touch either one of them, I can only took and talk to them.
Today I was there, my DS didnīt feel well so he asked me to drive them to the hospital. I was happy I could help. I canīt imagine this tiny boy whoīs fighting so hard might not be there anymore one day.
