Isa is doing ok, she is recovering from the surgery very well. If all goes like today she will be back this week!
Bram is doing ok too. He's sound asleep. Those are the messages we have been waiting for! Let's hope they continue like this.

Anael, Ahem. But they are very small and under two years, so they will have their ups and downs...but downs can turn quickly into ups.

Slowly, making progress in the sewing room, very slow...Storm of storms moving in on Thursday is the weatherman's prediction...8 to 12 inches of snow...Right! And I am buying another lottery ticket tomorrow morning. I believe when I see it. But getting prepared with blood pressure medicine and necessities added to the pantry. Then back to the sewing room after that. DD finally got her letter I sent to Lincoln, NE a week ago today from Unionville, Mo...pony express would have delivered it quicker. Centerville, Iowa, would have had it there in 2 days. Mystery of it is what happened to it in Missouri that kept it too long. Hope QuiltE you got your package of BBs today.

Ggal I like your idea of 6 inch blocks, mmmm will have to think about that one....
I spent last evening reading (studying) the list of participants and their choices, pulled out so many books looking for ideas, I think I can now sit and cut with a clear head or maybe a befuddled one, who knows. I haven't started pulling out fabrics yet
QNS it sounds like you don't need to go FARTing for a long time, but I agree on buying background fabric by the bolt, I keep a bolt of Kona cotton in white, cream, black and dark blue. It always comes in handy.

Gardnergal - I have to laugh because I thought the same thing about my first Mystery Block. Gosh I love it so much, and it is not quite finished yet! I know if we love our blocks, then you guys will love them too! (Hopefully!) I also thought about making one for me too, but your idea of a 6" block would work better! Great idea!!!!

Great news on Isa and Bram continuing to do so well. Thanks for those updates Anael!

You are right Mrabelle, but the FART trips will continue at every opportunity or excuse.

GGal I will withhold comments until after I have my first mystery block done; its an unknown factor at this time. So happy you like the one you made; may we all love what we make for the mystery block.

QuiltE, I am still waiting to hear your loud yell from Canada that you have your BBs.

After looking thru all sorts of blocks I finally decided on one for my mystery block....Why is is so difficult to choose???why is it so hard to decide on colors or shades of the chosen colors...It's a mystery!!! That's why!!!

I am also going to make the 6" blocks to match....are we missing the little 6" buggers???

Good news about the babies Anael...praying that it continues...

I've been swapping 2.5" & 1.2" pieces here on the board and I've been doing mindless sewing off and on for 2 days now...it's real easy and goes fast ..the only problem I have is not matching colors and just grabbing from the basket....a photo will follow.

It's been very windy here the last couple of days and cold... brrrrr....weather predictions are some snow and rain for you guys in the drought area in midwest. I hope , I hope you get it...

I don't know what happened but I feel very energetic today and in a very good mood...My niece would say my chakres? are in order....

Thanks QNS for your explanation and kind words. Here Ahem means you disagree with what's been said so that's why I was wondering.

Isa was doing so well she's back with Bram now! One day after surgery and before the doctors said she had to stay at least a week in Utrecht in the UMC. What a girl! Bram had a quiet night and my DS was able to hold him today for the very first time. He said Bram settled down very quickly and enjoyed being with his dad! So another milestone for Bram, out of the incubator for the first time and cuddled by his dad for the first time. I'm sure my DDIL took some pictures. As soon as I have them I will post them.
