LOL I"m going to sleep mirabelle and where you are it's past breakfast time! I will give Mick a big cuddle from you!

All is quiet in the NICU. Isa is still breathing on her own. Bram had a full diaper (with a little help) and is feeling fine now too. So here's to a quiet night!
CU all tomorrow morning.

GGal I have tried many different ways of quilting reasonably large quilts, start from the centre and work your way out to the edge, start on one side and work work way across the quilt, just pick a random area and work on that, but I always seemed to get puckers in the backing.. So now I spray baste my quilt and do all the stitch in the ditch work and voila no puckers, it now doesn't matter how long I take to do the free motion work everything is stitched in place and I get no movement. I can fold the quilt up and come back to when I have the time. Hope this helps

♪♪♫ Happy 5 Week Birthday SewGrands!!! ♫♪♪
Anael ...
They are doing so well ... keep growing babies! Such good news about today;s cuddle time. Have fun with Mick for his birthday party. He'll love his new pillow!

MiraB ... good for you for a "date" with your son! I have no clue when the last time I was at a movie.

DublB ... must be some Mystery Block you have planned ... 4 FQS!!

DDamsel ... out of the mudpuddles?

GGal ... no freezing today, as the sale was in a community hall! Mostly toy collectables and a lot of it was farm related. There were a few dairy bottles and collectables. I got 2 milk bottles, a milk siphon (straw affair, instead of needing a cream top bottle), and a grocery list (one of the things dairies used to give out, with little pull tabs as to what you needed at the store. Then to an antique mall and a few more things followed me home!

GGal and MiraB ... No pro here like MiraB, but do much the same ... get things outlined first then go at the FMQ which to this point is usually stippling. I really need top learn some other FMQ styles! I make my sandwich by stretching the backing (more snug than a stretch), spray it good, batting, spray again, then top. Seems to hold pretty good and I haven't been getting puckers. xxxcross fingersxxx for it to continue!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

No sewing tonight ... by the time I got home, had supper, returned phone calls, I decided to stay put. Instead printed a few more PC patterns ..........and ...... finished calculating how much fabric for my BBs. No, not going there yet, just getting prepared!!! After all, one needs to know such things, just in case some fabric starts jumping in their arms!

As for me ... tomorrow/Sunday ... PLEASE kick me off the QB if you see me ... my plan is a marathon quilting session. I am SO wanting to finish my PC blocks before the end of the month, and that is Thursday!!!

Anael - Another goodnews day! I'm still prayin'.
I went ta garage sales w/my DSis taday. This is the one that I sometimes don't git along with. We had a good day but I was afraid that she was gonna turn on me. Thank God that she didn't. He answers those prayers also. When I got home I was so tired that I didn't want ta do anything. I decided that I wasn't gonna let her affect my attitude & I made my self git up & make the last yellow & blue block. I'll post the pict tamarrow.

Isa had a quiet night. Bram was a bit restless and felt uneasy. The nurses had to suck out his mucus a few times because he was a bit angry and sad but after that he fell asleep and had a quiet night also!
They're still in Unit 1 meaning unstable and critical but it looks like we're getting there!

Just checking in quick before getting ready for church...we didn't end up with too much snow (maybe 5"). No ice here and it was beautiful yesterday and looks to be another nice winter day today too. I was able to get borders on my PC quilt the binding is sewn together and pressed. I might get it on today, but may have to wait until Tuesday since kids have archery practice this afternoon and I work Monday.

Sounds like good news on the twins...praising God for that. I am sure parents and grandparents are sleeping a little better these days.

Better be getting kids up...

!!!!Good morning!!!! (trying NOT to sound like Eeyore)
sigh.... I told my son that I would PAY him a dollar a day to NOT get sick! and of course... the night before the Kids wedding reception he got sick. so thats fine, we didnt get to go to the reception

BUT I did get to go to my very FIRST quilt show I convinced a non quilty friend to go with me, and she says rather loudly "your quilts are every bit as good as these! why dont you show your work" and I say SHHHHUUUUSHHH!!!! see if I ever invite you again :P AND they gave me a coupon for lqs... so I went and bought a baby fabric I have been eyeing and some more thread... I saw a pretty set of prints that I think I have to go back tomorrow and get that will be four fab trips in eight days! OH MY

YES QuiltE I am out of the mud for now.... I keep reminding myself I have two more months of mud to go
