Happy Easter to all. We will be going to church Sunday...we have a breakfast there before the service (potluck style). I did buy my kids some new clothes this past week (something they can wear to church), so guess you could say they got "Easter outfits". We *could* go to two different family meals...one tomorrow and one next Sunday. Not sure if we will go to either...DH is on-call for work so never know when he will have to go in.

I got my quilt finished this afternoon and also started my extra blocks for my BB quilt. I will finish the extra blocks and get sashing on tomorrow. Here is a link to a couple pictures http://www.quiltingboard.com/quiltin...ml#post5964224

I received my MB yesterday from Dublb, finally able to get the picture on my computer. Really don't like this different computer set up. Will try to post. Thank you very much Dublb I really like the block and all of the fabric colors.

Happy Easter everyone, we have services at 7:00 am. and breakfast after our service. We have a new pastor this month at our church, so we are having services a little different but very interesting.

All this Elvis talk ... there's an Elvis Festival every summer not far from here. All sorts of Elvis impersonators for young kids right up to the aged! No, I've never been, thought I attend virtually, thru all the TV coverage!

Anael ... well I was pretty feathered with all that static-electricity in the styrofoam. I fill the milk bottles not just to make it look like milk, but more so, to help the labels show better while on display. Yes! Yes! get some new duds made for Bram! We don't want him to get any complexes wearing his DS hand-me-downs!

QNSue ... Oh dear ... perhaps your Farmers Scrap quilt went to Hawaii with DDamsel's FFC fabric? Guess you'll just have to work on your FFC til you find it! Thanks for the wishes ... no GTG with friends/family, so I am "Home Alone" and enjoying the time!

CarrieM ... your quilt looks great! Hope your friend likes it as much. Did you tell your kids about all of us having hats and gloves for Sunday's Best? And goes without saying that we girls always wore dresses and had a Sunday coat.

GrannyQ and DublB ... ooooooh I like that RB+W! Hang in with your new computer. I hated my new programs for the first while, but gradually discovered their intricacies and there's been a LOT of great improvements, so I am now so thankful for all! It was well worth the perseverance!!

Good Night, Ladies!
... here's your tune for tonight .........

Yes Yes a beautiful block arrived sometime this week from DD! (who knows when--the mail police (me) was not here to monitor the mail's coming), but a big stack was sprawled across the dining room table when I got home yesterday.
Thank you Thank you. It may be a while before I get it posted as the house is overflowing. Got a potatoe cheese omelet in the slow cooker for tomorrow's breakfast. Haven't thought about noon or supper yet. We are 8 adults and 9 kids under the age of 11. And then a ham feast for 30 + on Sunday. Thank goodness everyone brings something and I just do the ham and some side potatoes. Okay I'm whipped--good night and thanks for the pleasant chatter and memories.

GrannyQ and Dublb - great log cabin block! I love the colors.

So glad you got your MB OK, can't wait to see it, but don't rush, after the weekend when things calm down for you is just great!

Anael - you going to make Bram a new blue outfit for Easter? We have not seen a photo of Isa in a while, we need to see her in her crib! Isn't it just grand that they have progressed so much. I just smile thinking about them in their cribs!

Jeanie, I don't have pictures of Bram and Isa in their cribs. I hope my DDIL will take some today. I made Bram new outfits with the fabrics I had left. My DDIL told me not to buy anymore fabric as she's having enough outfits size 50 (metric size) given to her by a friend.

Yuk, it's snowing again! We have a white Easter I can't remember ever seen snow with Easter!!

What a wonderful weekend at the OKSGlad Ranch! While overflowing with people (and tiring for you) ... I know you are loving all the hussle and bussle! Is an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt in the plans? Delicious sounding breakfast this morning ... you'll have to share your recipe later! We'll get a look at your block later, like an Easter surprise!

Honchey ... I guess I've been the lucky one, have never resized photos ... and hope I don't jinx it by saying that !!

Anael ... size 50, sounds so HUGE! That's something you'll have to get in their baby books, that their first Easter was white! So far it's looking like a green Easter with rain. Although, yesterday we awoke to a smattering of snow, and Monday's forecast is for some accumulation!!! Mother Nature has a wicked sense of humour, and with April Fool's Day ... hrmpf!

When I bought my home 10 yrs ago ... we had our worse storm of the year on April 7th ... so it's may not be over yet! That day it was wicked wicked and when the Real Estate Agent came to pick me up he got stuck in the farm lane. The roads were dangerous with people sliding everywhere, as most snow contracts end the end of March. As we drove to this place, I wondered why we were out on the roads, it really was not that important. When we arrived, it was all covered ... the roof, the sidewalk, the flowerbeds ... I really had no idea what lay underneath. When we stepped in the front door, I had the sense this was going to be THE ONE! ... once I went around the home and found the stone wall that you've often seen in quilt pics, I KNEW it was! I put in an offer that afternoon. And four days later when I removed the conditions, guess what? The roof, sidewalk and flowerbeds were still covered with snow! ................ and I've never regretted it one bit!
