Wow what a lot of chatter..
Beautiful flowers and even more beautiful baby with a beaming Grandmother.
Beautiful MB's. OK I am so glad you liked the block, the Dutch Blues really threw me a curve ball but with Anael's help and DH googling Delft China I think I got it right.

Thank you also for all your kind words, things apparently heated up quite a bit after I left and the two "ladies" involved are to apologise to me next week. If not they will not be invited to renew their membership. Apparently the members who hears the exchange were horrified but wanted to wait until after I had left to confront the pair. But you know I am too old for this C#$%, I really don't care. I am not going to quilt next week, just don't feel that I need to justify myself..

If I have missed anybody please forgive me, have to cook dinner and I am so tired, instead of an hour and a half to get home took me almost 2 hours, aaarrrggghhh road works and slow drivers drive me nuts

...and the mystery blocks just keep coming in.
Jan...I have some if the floral fabric in the block you sent QNS...what a great block.
Carrie...Janie got all of the points perfect. I still have to get the perfect size on the foundation printout to work on yours more. It's getting closer and I did sew a block on my new machine yesterday as well as finish getting the ends if the garden bed boards cut and in place. Did a hands and knees tour of the berry patch to pull the offending weeds and more planning for a new bed beside the garden. Like a quilt...there is always room for one more border.
OK....what a beautiful feathered star from Mirabellle! That's the class project for next month but none of the patterns make a 12 inch block so I'm passing that one up.
Thanks for all of the spring flower pictures. My lilacs are in bud and the magnolia tree down the street continues to bloom with this cooler weather.
Anael....what a relief to have the twins so much closer. Isa has that marshmellowy....soft and squeezable.... of a very healthy baby!
Mirabelle....your friends are all taking up for you. Hooray! It sounds like all you have to do is take care of yourself. What a great group!
Janie...how nice it is that you are close to some of your GKs. That's the way it should be.
QuiltE...come on now. Get In the saddle with that machine and show it that you have the reins and it has to behave....and the one talking had her machine talk back when paper piecing yesterday. It's something when the machines are smarter than we are!!!
i'm out of here to go to the quilt show. Have a good day everyone!

In my email Ladybug sent me news of Hoffman's new batik fabric, "Springtime in the Rockies" with a quilt fabric and pattern to us it. Beautiful. Wow. Have to think about that one.

Love your duck names, DD. Our big white duck is "Baby Huey" and the black one is also named for cartoon character "Daffy"; others are not named.

Beautiful MB posted. Everyone outdid themselves!!

Mirabelle, its good that people stood with you and supported you so well. It sounds like you are well loved and appreciated in your group....what more can a quilter ask for? You do associate with smart & reasonable people...like we have on this PC board!!

QNS would you share the Ladybug Link? please? The Rockies and Springtime theme appeals. I tried googling it and got nowhere. Thanks

Sure its: www.ladybugquilts.com address is Colorado Springs, Colorado. Free newsletter. I do the www.FabHopShop.com that lists over 130 quilt shops in USA and Canada...you find the 'bunny' at each site...the best shops will list where to find the bunny on their 'cover' page. I have won about four different certificates for $10.00; a yard of four different fabric pieces, so its fun and kills some time on the computer. And I get to travel free of charge seeing all the latest and displays at each shop. Too bad I don't have the $$$ to spend or it could get very wild.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee.have my hair cut and feeling good!!! Time to do therapy in the quilt room!!

Oh Mirabelle Ya made a wonderful Feathered Star for OK! I'm sure she'll treasure it.
DD what cute names for your ducks. They make me smile. It's so cool that ya were able at fix your fridge.

DDIL & I were supposed ta take the boys ta the Dr th'smornin' but that appmnt was canceled so we went ta an Estate sale in West Odessa. I bought a Keyboard (like a piano) for my DGD & DGS that live in Houston. Now I'm sleepy.

I did it! I ordered from Ladybug Quilts, the whole Tahiti Mist Kit and hope I make it as well as the picture. I thought they had a reasonable price on it, for when i choose fabric for a quilt it totals more that what they are charging for it.

Hooray, QuiltE finally went to the PO; she has been so busy playing with that new sewing machine so she did not go to the PO for a whole week!! Little did she know what was waiting for her there.

I finally ordered from Fabric Depot; got 35% of the two bolts of fabric, got two backings for two quilts, then got an additional 30% off the order.,,'cause of the stolen cc numbers last fall. Sweet deal.

Have the four squares almost done for the center of the Triangle Stars....had to do first one over 'cause I did not know enough to know the 2 7/8 squares had to be trimmed down to 2 1/2 before sewing together...wow, just 448 squares to do!!

So QNS is getting more fabric for more quilts. Anxious to see the results!
Did I miss something? GGal has a new toy too?
DD you are one inventive lady--add washing repairwoman to your bio!! Love the ducks names, too.
Worked in sewing area--again. Biggest accomplishments are outside--put up the little greenhouse I bought earlier and transferred all my plants to it this morning. Perfect day to move them outside. Then to the beds I went--planted 8 purple passion asparagus crowns-will wait on the MWashington seedlings I've got in the ghouse. Then planted Dutch Iris, day lilies and lilies in bed around the LP tank--need to plant some nasturtiums there later. Next headed to the rejuvenated bed by the farm sign at the end of the lane. Two red peonies, some white lilies, red lilies, and red phlox. Have a couple of red clematis growing in dirt in the ghouse as well as some yellow dahlias. Will plant some red morning glories to grow on the fence until clematis get going. Going to divide some Stella D'Oro day lilies next week--so lots of red/white/ and yellow at the end of the lane.
Here's a pic of the ghouse. I put it on the porch (covered) and DH tied it down with some twine string (aka farmer's duct tape) when the wind started blowing. Thanks dear.
Back to organizing fabric! Night all.
