OK - you have been one busy lady today! I'm sure it will look spectacular when all is in bloom!

QNS I checked out that shop and the beautiful kit, wow can't wait to see it finished..

Will post pics tomorrow of the PC quilt hanging and also the Daisy quilt, its late and I have had a busy day, unpicking about 10,000 machine embroidered stitches another ufo I am trying to get enthusiastic about, made a huge boo boo and I have to unpick as it is a 90 inch panel of embroidered flowers and I have no more of the fabric left, so unless I want it to become a forever ufo I will unpick very very carefully and redo.

Goodnight everyone

Again, Miriabelle, you continue your wonderful job well done...and spend the time to correct an error to make it right. Inspires all of us to do our best. Well, as well as we can. No not all my half squares and triangles are perfect; not perfect enough to show, but perfect enough I can enjoy them on my bed. Now have the center of FARMERS SCRAPS done...and finishing the center of the TRIANGLE STAR. I work from the center out, not from the border in. How does everyone else do it?

OKsewGlad, your green house looks wonderful and hope everything grows well for you. It all sounds very pretty and an excellent selection of plants. I tried a "Spray n Grow" company products from Texas, a spray that is organic and needs to be sprayed every week on the orchard that was not producing here...two years ago. It worked too well; it overproduced itself. Dh expected me to spray every week last year, and it did not fly with me. It was his turn to do it...as far as my mind went of thinking about it. One peach tree did overdue itself and broke the top limbs of the tree down. It works well on the garden and flowers as well. But your naturally produced BS will do the trick as well. Plum tree is in full bloom, but the other plum completely died, so no pollution for it this year. Will replace it in three weeks. Not planting anything until the soil warms up.

Next week, I will begin to look at sewing machines; taking into account your stories about your new machines. I will try to check them all out, to see what fits me the best....no dh there to 'tell' me his opinion!!

When I went to the Post Office yesterday, my April MB from QNSue was waiting for me!!!
.... and another .... and another!
My goodness, a Hat Trick of MBs! Me-thinks the Lady cannot count!!
Take a look ... they read as Spring, and are cheery yet calm, light coloured (as per my MB Wish List), and cute with little music notes on the background fabric. Thank you QNSue ... your ♥ of gold is shining bright again. Can you tell I really like them?

JanieW ... OMG I roared when I saw your snowman!!!! Were you stalking me?? as that sure looks like my verandah!

OKSGlad and MiraB ... oh what a beautiful MB!! The Feathered Star, really does look feathered! Great use of the different values of blues with a nice FC centre and perfect points.

MiraB ... Glad to see that your friends took the comments serious and are taking action. Though I fear it will drag it back up and may hurt you all over again. OMG I can hardly imagine picking out 10,000 stitches! And then the next challenge, of not damaging the fabric as I do.

GGal ... glad you are using your new machine, as I have not, yet! Too much happening. Oh so nice, with lilacs in bud and magnolias blooming. My lilacs are showing some bud, but only for their leaves yet. Good parallel on using our machines ... saddles, reins, etc. Yes, these new ones can be quite saucy, can;t they?

DDamsel and Anael... link to a pattern? did I miss something?

DDamsel ... Love the ducky names!! Priceless!!! Now if DH were only 1/2 as capable with all the domestics as you are with the Mrs.FixIts!

QNSue ... you have me intrigued about Springtime in the Rockies too! Last year one fo the Shop Hops here, had a trillium batik exclusive. Then a different one had a Loon exclusive. Now the Rockies ... which is the nicest of the lot IMHO. I didn't spot any quilts for it, though you mentioned Tahiti, so guess, it's not with The Rockies fabric! Who has to go shopping for a FART? You do it simply online!!!

I couldn't get QNSue's link to work ... but here's a couple for those who want to see Springtime in the Rockies!

OKSGlad ... You've been a busy Lady and I know you will SO enjoy your little greenhouse. Next will be a more permanent one. Friends got one this year, and installed it on top of an old grainery cement pad. I have some Stella D'Oros that should be divided too. Do you just cut thru their root mass with your shovel? Or give them more TLC?

New Machines ... and how many have had new machines recently ...... Let me see if I can remember
GGal ... this week 8200
DDamsel ... have you done anything yet?
OKSGlad ... her little Jem!
Anael ... coverlock
DublB ... how many collectables? plus embroidery from DH
MiraB ... the new black Singer
JanRN ... her Sweetie
Moi ... 820
Honchey ... I know is itching!
QNSue ... is now on a mission!

And who did I forget?

My goodness, we are prolific!

I believe QuiltE you missed Carrie's update to the 6600 which I have heard is a really sweetheart workhorse machine; GardenGal jumped up a couple of steps and went with the 8800, a delightful machine, I have heard excellent stories back on it.

No, I cannot count, as my bank looked sideways at the Canadian $$ and called it 'foreign' money!! but your thoughts were so wonderful and I enjoyed making the Signature Star from quilterscache.com so much, and thought you desired lots of springtime wishes...the music notes because you have lovely tunes that appear on site from u-tube.

I will try the http://www.ladybugquilts.com myself and see what happens; wonder if it can be reached through goggle...

Try Ladybug Hill quilts in goggle and select newsletter. Then you can see the Tahiti Mist kit made with Springtime in the Rockies and Stonehenge fabrics.

OMG ... how could I have missed CarrieM!! Yes the 6600 is a grand machine. I loved mine while I had her and hope my new one becomes just as endearing to me. I didn;t realize GGal went all the way for the 8900!

**adds and changes to list**
CarrieM ... 6600
GGal ... 8900

Would look like we've all done our fair share to help the economy ... to say the least about our FART'ing around acquisitions!!!

And now ... I'm outta here to get my mop clipped!

Gorgeous blocks that you made for QuiltE, QNS. They really do cry out "Spring!!!""

This is the kit you ordered? it looks wonderful. Living near the Rockies, it is tempting me and the price is really unbelievable.

Yes, that is the one I ordered. I have the book called "Six halves make a whole lot more" and wanting to make it. I still wish for fat quarters or a half a yard of each of the Springtime in the Rockies fabric but that will remain a wish for now...backing was included in my order to Fabric Depot with my one time big discount...which it was hard to put on the brakes there but knew I still wanted the new sewing machine and cabinet...so I did not marry a millionaire...nor make a million myself...so brakes were applied.

Thank you, QuiltE for finally posting; I was so ready, I was about to burst!. LOL!!
