Hi Everyone, Just got back this afternoon...had the boys over for dinner tonite and I'm just relaxing...
I think my sister and I must have walked at least 10 miles in the 2 1/2 days we spent in Atlantic City...we had a fun time doing all the activities the casinos had for "Golden Days" participants....didn't come home with any extra $$$... below is a photo of DS & me...I'm on the right...I thought it was about time you saw what I look like....
All of you have and are very busy...I'll be mailing my May block the end of this week.. Hmmmm..did I send out June's MB's names yet??? I'll have to check my emails....

My MBs to ........... will wait until next week when I mail dgs quilt to him for his fifth birthday and Passion Pansy II to Corpus Christi, Tx (If I can get it bouind). Got the binding on Micheal's almost all done today. Have an image of a king sized bed frame mounted outside to take out my quilts to natural light for better pictures...still thinking about it.

Nice picture, Honchey of you and your sister; of course, we all know who the better looking sister is....right PCers??

Off to town tomorrow to do errands, pick up sweet potatoes plants and deliver eggs so I have more room in my refrigerator. Rain predicted for tomorrow; none today. Lightning in South skies tonight.

Honchey--sounds like you had a nice time with your sister. Then to be able to come home and have dinner with the "boys"...good end to the trip. Always good to have a face to go with a name. I have my June MB name (and the block is done).

QNS--have fun finishing up those projects for family. Hope you can get all your errands done and back home to get some sewing time in.

Anael ... oh what a way for them to say, we don't want you in the family. OUCH! Hope you still eat beef, despite that experience ... and use lots of milk, butter, cheese!

JanieW ... good memories with your lambs! And soon you'll be cuddling with them, with that new quilt. How about some minky used for their fleece? I'll gladly receive those achimenes, though I forwarn you ... so long as you accept that there may be fatalities.

DublB
... Time and Patience!

DDamsel ... hey ... come on back and sit a spell!! And I want to see those pink/orange ducks!

Anael ... DDamsel could make the two quilts and zipper them together for MrDDamsel's king size!

QNSue ... such fun to see the quackers enjoying their beach! You are amazing ... never slow down! Be sure to send us photos once the CC and DGS quilts are finished, before you send them off. With your overload of eggs, do you have a local restaurant you could sell them to?

JanieW and QNSue ... so neither of you know about that order being shipped?

MiraB ... maybe you'll have a surprise coming to you too?

CarrieM ... It's nice that MrCarrieM helps with the quilting decisions. Though maybe not so, if he does not agree with what you want to do! Good idea on the compass inclusion. Perhaps the windsocks could be quilted in? And which of the layouts are you going to use?

Honchey ... back already? That was one whirlwind trip! And so nice to "meet" you! I sent my May MB this week to ____________!!!!! And yes, I do have my June MB Pardner!! Thank you!

Hi everybody!

Good to "see" you Anne. It sounds like you had a great time. I got your e-mail about the June MB.

QNSue, your ducks are adorable. I was surprised to see how big they were.

Carrie, Your airplane quilt is really, really, a terrific quilt. I love the colours and the arrangement.

DD, Pink ducks? That sounds so magical. Pictures? Are you making the Irish/Tahiti mist quilt, too? The more the merrier. Congrats on your May block, now get cracking on June!

QuiltE, I will not hold you accountable if you have a casualty or two, but you likely won't. Re my Tahiti Mist kit, I have no idea why it took them so long to process the order, but it says it's on its way. The tracking # tells me it is in Aurora, CO which is only about 2000 kms away so it should get here in the next two weeks depending on how long customs holds it hostage. I had done my usual... see it, love it, knee jerk order it and then wonder what the shipping would be as they only estimated it. it was when I was trying to ask about the actual shipping cost that I lost communications. Then Sue contacted them and got shipping and it seemed really high compared to other US orders so I thought I'd pass and make it with my own fabrics. I forgot about it and then got a shipping notification yesterday. So now I am chuffed big time that I will be getting the Springtime in the Rockies batiks and making the same quilt as Sue. It's all good.

The twins are coming today. They are really fascinated with my faerie garden. This morning I went and moved the teeny hoe and shovel to make it look like they have visited and sprinkled a bit of red faerie dust out there. Can't wait to see their reaction.

Better go. Hope y'all have a great day.

DDamsel ... nope and I think I will hold out til I see your pink duckies!

JanieW ... let's hope that the shipping rates aren't oo much a surprise. I really want to do Tahiti or Irish or perhaps it'll be Autumnal Mist ... though I am NOT starting another project til some more get done!! (See how long I hold out on that!!) ......... and it looks like you need to be the shutterbug too ... photos of the Faerie Garden, please? And do the faeries do different things each time the Twins come? That'll be fun!!!

Have a great sun-shiney day, everyone ... it's a warmin' up big time here!!!
And looks like I'll have to muck around in the flower beds this weekend. too.

Toodles for now Kids! ........

Janie, I received your great block yesterday. Thank you very much. This is the first time I have worked with black, white, & red fabric. I really love it. I haven't been on much lately because DH has been having health issues. So for now it will only when I can. I also have _________ MB done for June.
