gah! ... had my first comments typed and then switched pages without posting, saving or starting a new tab. Is this a sign of what today will be like? I know what it is ... no caffeine yet. Must make some tea!

MiraB ... OUCH! hopefully a day later and you are a little more comfortable. Looks like it might be a blessing that DS has a sit-down job right now, to let his knee heal more. How proud you must be of your DD for the coming Fun Run. Your quilts will surely be a big assistance to her fundraising efforts.

GGal and OKSGlad ... awesome Pineapple!!
OKSGlad ... after all, what are neighbours for!

GGal ... oh thank you so much for your pics! Love the contrasts of the two, from the soft subtle look of the sampler to the cheery bright Easy Street. And look at all those perfect y-seams in the sampler. It really does give a lovely 3-D effect to the quilt.

QNSue ... here's to a FUN get-away day today for you and all! You deserve the mini-holiday! Now won't that be something at MSQC. I was taken by the B+B at GGal's LQS too. Oh dear ... take care of that cut, and hope the fumes haven't set back your bronchitis recover. Glad that you got your pan cleaned, and now stove top too ... new "recipe" for me! I have used dishwasher detergent as a slurry and then let sit for some luck before. I bet now that your sewing room is cleaned and tidied, you;ll be so proud of it that you'll keep it that way!

DGMom ... aw shucks! Hoping to get some serious quilting done this weekend too. Made sandwiches last night for some small stuff for practice, but useful after the fact.

OKSGlad .. great Fair display ... I stood on tippy toes and saw the crumb blocks!

OKSGlad and DublB ... oh so pretty!

Nurse Honchey ... glad you have arrived safe and sound! I bet that injury won't keep MrHonchey off the golf course for long!

Hello Ladies!!! what BEAUTIFUL MB's I may have to load myself into the truck and drive down to the mailbox to see if I have one waiting for me!

I had a fun day yesterday, I took DhDD CLOTHES shopping I ended up spending more $$ at HobbyLobby on art supplies than on clothes! DH hollered at me for it, but OHWELL its near impossible to shop for clothes for a 15yr old so :P :P :P at DH! and she DID choose 2 jeans and 1 shirt!!! so thumb my nose at him too!!!

Sadly... the air quit in my Suburban ohhhhh SAD now I am coolerless at home and on the go the fellow at the Chevy dealer said they cant find anything wrong, its in the wiring and it must be "Gremlins"

DDamsel ... such good news that you stocked up while you were gone! A teenager and new jeans and T, she was probably over-the-moon and thrilled with you?!!! and probably never even thought of the $$ differential. Oh phooey about the a/c and the no-fix. Not good at all! Better get yourself a battery operated fan!

DD,Just wanted to let you know that your MB was sent on the 20 of June...Please check your mailbox to see if it's there....A little birdie was getting nervous about it's arrival...
Mirabelle, are you sure you don't have elves running around in your sewing room...???

Well, about 45 minutes ago the TV told us to take shelter NOW!!!..Tornados in the area...there was a small tornado about 20 miles SW of Calabash heading in our direction....it weakened before I was going to pull all the pillows off the beds and head for the bathroom which doesn't have an outside wall and get in the tub and cover myself with them...
DH decided to continue watching the warnings...Oh well, another day in the life!!!!

We're going out for dinner tonite....YAY!!! Fried scallops & scratch coleslaw...that's my choice tonite...

Going to start the July MB later tonite...Part 1...Take the pattern out of the tote...Part 2. cut the pattern apart...part 3...Place the cut up pattern on the sewing table...Part 4. thread the sewing machine.... I think that will be it for the nite...That's enough for tonite...tomorrow's another day!!!

Fun day with bfs and in DM. even I was wrong and it was not a Rainbow vacuum place next to the Computer shop bf went up to....It was a Rainbow alright....of a different color...not vacuums but play ground equipment for kids; we made a quick exit from the place. Tooo dern old to swing and go down a baby slide!!

Ate at the Olive Garden; love their bread sticks.

DD, have to ask dh about Chevy(?) AC the his father had, that he solved for the dealer, and another car came in with same problem. Something about the same engine used in the different model of cars. You gotta have AC to do errands for the family.

Got more totes today to use in the Quilting Room...that I can do under the effects of the Meds! Have all DH stuff to sort out now and my scrapes are still talking to me that's on top of the table.

And no MB here yet...maybe it went to Texas first???????
