Now its time for a laugh: Maxine's RV adventure on you tube.

May improvement continue, Dublb, but shingles I have heard is terrible pain. Dh has these plans for me everyday.... today was a trip out into the heat to pick up chicken feed and his bananas. Got back at noon. Did the dishes and cleaned up kitchen just now, including the mess from from dropping his ice and tea into the silverware tray and floor.

White four foot table came today. Forward movement. Next few days are suppose to be cooler...hopefully no more road trips until Tuesday. Time for hair cuts.

DGA is much better now. They have taken her off o' the C-pap & put her on an oxygen mask. The Dr. said that the shingles haven't come back. The night nurse just panicked. Sigh. She is still in CCU.

QNS--good news about the table. Sorry about the mess in the kitchen...at least it is cleaned up now.

Bev--Great news for DGA. Praying for continued improvement.

DH took off at noon today. We took the boat up the river with the kids and went swimming/floated back down again. Then we got pizza for supper. It was a fun afternoon.

Anael ... by now you have probably found what Chocolate Chips are. Even if you don;t have them, you could just chop up pieces of chocolate! What would you use for Chocolate Chip cookies?

MiraB .... too late to tuck you in ... you'll be up and drinking some java by now! Yeaaaaaaaa to get DD joining us!

QNSue ... oh dear for the tumbled Iced Tea! I had Tossed Salad for supper tonight .......... all over the kitchen floor! A big bowl of it just kind of slipped as I took it out of the frig. Needless to say, abandoned that plan!

CarrieM ... looks like a fun family day. And perhaps more this weekend? Won't be long til you will be "making" your kids hit the books again. Have they had a good summer?

I am SO looking forward to this weekend ......... and they say it is to get cooler and less humid. Big storm went thru late this aftn, so that should do the trick. At least I hope it does!

QuiltE, I just made your Lemon Squares! They're so good.......I didn't wait till they cooled down, I just had to try and now I have to sit on my hands so I won't eat it all
I don't make Chocolate Chip cookies, I only had store bought and I didn't like them that much. Maybe I should try and make them myself?
We had empanada last night and it was almost all over the kitchen floor as well. I was just in time to catch it So no change of plans here!

This morning it started very cloudy, no sun yet. I don't mind, one cooler day is ok with me. I might even get some sewing done today.
I can't go into the kitchen though, there's the Lemon Square waiting for me

JeanieG, where o where is your information about the Wal Mart table? Loved the looks of it. My special from Office Depot is an inch short in width, but I can use it elsewhere. Please post it again or tell me where o where is it on this site. Thank you. Hope you see progress on your remodel job.

Cardboard is saved from the two folding sewing desks, and bf's table is put on top of them in the TT on the bed. Now the room looks larger without it in there. I am looking at Sew steady site http://www/allbrands.com/products/3522-sew-steady-wide-extension- because I do not like the plate insert that comes from Bernina. Bernina used to use the Sew Steady tables/inserts and I have one for my 1530. Unfortunately it took a direct hit from my folding display screen and split across the middle of it...so need to replace it so fabric will slide across it better. Leaving the folded desk down, I can put a Sew Steady extension on it and have more sewing room with the sewing machines.

Well I'll try this again! Had it all ready and it blipped out on me.

QNS - take a look at this sewing machine extension table. Bonnie Hunter recommends this one because you can configure it to fit any sewing machine.

Here is the table, but I see it is out of stock at Walmart. However, I just got mine yesterday, so maybe they have not changed their web page. Lifetime 4' Adjustable Fold-in-Half Table in White Granite

Here is a photo of both tables in my sewing room. The same table, just two different heights:

Have to laugh, you can also see the clothes hanging on the clothesline. I had to use the dryer when the weather is nice!
