Hi Everyone, I'm coming back into the groove ..I think....after working the last 3 days I don't feel as tired and depleted as I was the week before...DH is very cantankerous...He's having a procedure in the a.m. and has to drink alot of fluids...I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about.....

The MB I sent out last week came back without the address on it ...so it should be arriving anyday now....sorry about that...I'm playing the waiting game also....It will get here when it gets here.....I do have the fabric and block for August picked out & printed...I'll be playing with it Tuesday or Wednesday...
I picked up a Singer 237 Stylist from freecycle this afternoon....everything moves...has a little cabinet too...It really needs to be cleaned up....
There's alot going on here....Bram's surgery, Dublb's move, carriem & mirabelles shoulders getting better....
The MB's I've seen for this month so far are beautiful and can't wait to see what's in store for me....
You know we all marvel how Mirabelle & carriem get so much done....well, QuiltE is catching up to them mighty fast ...Seeing her PC done makes me think about getting mine out of the tote and working on it...
I have to see what DH is hollering for..got to go. Later...

Here is Pony Club Quilt #1 finally completed. I finished the quilting and binding yesterday. Oh happy day! I thought I had the backing all straight, but it turned out wonky - darn. I did not notice this when I had it on the display wall - oh well, I'm not taking this apart and redoing it. It will stay as it is! Some of my horseshoes in the border and the piece I zoomed in on to show you are a little wonky too - I guess all horseshoes are not perfect anyway!

I've got the border cut for Pony Club Quilt#2, and I've ordered the border fabric as I did not have enough left over from the sashing. QuiltE - I did not notice at the time I purchased this fabric, but it is a Fusion - Fusion Collection Full Circle fabric. You know how we love Fusions.

JeanieG I love everything about this quilt, the blocks, the sashing, the backing and especially the quilting. Your horseshoes turned out great. Can't wait to see the next one

Jeanie--your PC quilt turned out great! The horseshoes are a great addition to your quilting.

Today I got some more fabric cut for the quilt for my MIL...just a few more squares to cut and I will be ready to start sewing flying geese. I am using the Deb Tucker Wing Clipper ruler. It comes with directions for getting 4 "geese" from one large square and four smaller squares. I will have time to finish cutting and maybe sewing tomorrow..yay!

We have some new neighbors that moved in a few months ago that I haven't officially met yet. I noticed when driving by earlier this week that she was very pregnant and then yesterday saw blue and yellow balloons on the mailbox, so am guess their baby arrived. I decided to make a baby quilt, DD said she would make a meal and we will go introduce ourselves later this week. I found scraps a friend had given me and some of mine to make a nice little flannel quilt...just need to get something for the inner border and backing. I'll share pictures after I get it done. DD wants to introduce herself so they know there is a babysitter living down the road or "mother's helper" if she needs some help around the house while adjusting to the new baby.

QuiltE great work as usual. Good on ya!

JeanieG I am in awe. Well done. Your quilt is terrific.

Carriem How kind of you to give your new neighbour a baby quilt. Lucky neighbours.

It's been cool and rainy so I finally had some sewing time that was guilt free. I finally finished this. I went out of my comfort zone as it is raw edge hand applique. It seems weird not to have finished edges. I love this pattern as it is exactly how my grandma ran her house. She had a specific big jog designated for each day of the week.

Honchey--nice to hear from you!

Janie--your quilt turned out great. Isn't it nice to get something done "guilt free".

Bev--good of you to check in here and there.

Jeanie your quilt is so special. I love the horses in the border. What a great way to use leftover fabric. The back is equally stunning. Is there a Fair you can take it to and bring home a blue ribbon like QE has done?

What a charming "chore" quilt, Janie. Fabrics remind me of a time when my mom was wearing dresses and aprons. It was the 70's before she wore pants! Wish that's all the "chores" I had to do--my life is like hers in many ways--but you never saw her on a tractor or milking cows--although she did feed calves occasionally and had her chickens. Thanks for letting me remember her through your quilt.

Bev, moving my sewing room took 2 months and I'm still "unpacking". Not as productive either because of it, but it will be worth it in the long run. Take your time, spare your back and get it right.

Anael ... Totally agree with MiraB's words of wisdom! Be sure to not undervalue your time and it's value. Good that you are getting an agreement in place before you start working on the quilt.

Honchey ... sending you some "patience" for your not-so patient! Good Luck to MrHonchey (and you!) tomorrow! You're giving me too much credit! That PC has been done since June, and finally I have posted the pics! Things will soon come to a hault, as now I have to get in gear for The EX ... and last year there were no more stitches made til December! YIKES!! So am hoping to get at the MBs before things get really crazy ... or else! So what is the plan for this new/old machine? And yes ... get that PC back into production! Are you done working now? Or another stint, next weekend?

JeanieG ... your Pony is absolutely wonderfu;, both front and back!! And Congratulations for making it uniquely yours! Love the horseshoe addition ... please zoom in on some others for us too! Which one of the Full Circles is it? I had thought it was white, and when you showed it later, there seems to be some colour/mottle to it. Will give you a nice light and bright quilt for all that California sunshine!

CarrieM ... what great neighbours all of you are! Smart DD, to make herself known!!

JanieW ... that's awesome! Reminds me of the days of the week tea towels I had when I was married. Did you have them too? It must have been so much fun to work on that quilt ... what size did it finish at?

DublB ... Relax a little ... you don't have to get it all done, at once! Not to worry, if we don't hear from you, we know what you are busy at!

OKSGlad ... Yessss!!! nudge JeanieG and Others to show the fruits of their labour! Looks like you are going to need that bigger sewing room, with all the new quilters working with you!

Honchey ... reminded me of our ironing board for "big" things. Though the one most used was one that hung on the wall, and swung up to use. I missed the convenience of it so much, that when we moved to our own farm, I had my Dad come and install one for me there!

And like Anael ... it's 11:30pm ... so I am going to bed!
