Anael, beautiful babies (altho Mick would probably not like being called a baby LOL). They are growing so fast. I keep thinking of the first pics you posted of the twins and where they are now. Miracles! And I love your blocks-great colors.

QNS, that's coming together nicely. Take it easy in the heat. It's headed our way--yuck!

Just wanted to mention that the new MB that GGal posted was really from me, not Jeanie.

OH aren't Grands just the greatest! Thanks for sharing Honchey and Anael.

Just pace yourself QNS--life is not a race!!

DGS has all the numbers he needs for completion of feed costs of 4-H record book. Went to town looking for new washer--hate my front loader and refuse to put any more wasted time and money into it. Got myself a Speed Queen with no electronics and few plastic parts. Oh such simple things thrill me. Now off to the sewing room and get some serious sewing finished. 90 minute phone call with DSis waylaid Saturday night plans.

Thank D_D. You are taking things easy too, I hope. I have posted three of my 'blue tops' in the SYE section....if you have not seen them, you might want to take a look.

Off to get our hair cut. Dh says the orchard needs my attention with apples and peaches ready, so morning and late afternoons will be used to work up those. Make it a good day and celebrate.

Great pictures of grands Honchey and Anael.

Anael--some more nice Ode to Mom blocks too.

QNS--pretty quilts on the SYE thread and more progress on the IM quilt. I can't wait to see your other colorway.

Here is the link to the UFO page...finally got the binding finished on this wallhanginghttp://www.quiltingboard.com/quiltingboard-challenges-contests-f21/2013-ufo-challenge-month-t209986-107.html#post6258060

It is very hot here...school released 2hr early yesterday and will today too. I don't remember getting out of school early due to the heat! I need to finish school with my other two, so better get off of here.

D_D: Posted one more delectable quilt, made with light sunshine going around the mountain side with light colors on two sides and the dark shaded tones on the other two sides on the SYE site. Just so you can smile again.

Feeling much better now, recharged my old battery and up to normal speed. The eye had an eye lash in it; its gone now. The knee is getting much better staying out of the car and out of the chicken yard. I worked up the beets into Harvard Beets today; will can them tomorrow. Also cut up the tomatoes in my kitchen island sinks for tomatoes to put into chilli this winter. Will process them tomorrow. Early in the morn, we need to pick the tomatoes and bring in more.

Dh wondered why the hen house did not have a fly in it; so he watched awhile. The little brown ducks were near the entrance/exit and as a fly buzzed by, a duck would catch it in their beaks, and that was the end of the fly. Little guineas are growing up and letting us know this by pooping on the East door cement entrance walkway.
