And just cause we like eye candy, here is my latest almost finish. It was a jelly roll pattern that used 2 jelly rolls, not very clear instructions but I worked it out and managed to make it a little larger, so not as much fabric wastage as the pattern. Then I found another jelly roll of the same range hidden in the cupboard and made the final border. It will be quilted at the LQS before Christmas I hope.
Now that's a beautiful quilt. Ya did good girl!

A heat pad day this afternoon but did go out and get a few tulips planted for next spring--back doesn't bother bending over--just sitting so have to keep moving.

As promised Anael--here's the Valentine runner--pretty good size 38 x 20. I saw the fabric and was reminded of valentines sent while a child so really wanted to high light the fabric. Now it's ready for my table come February.

I spent another half a day cleanin' at my old house. Actually I was puttin contact paper in the cabinets, & my DF & #2DSis were cleanin'. My DF cleaned the refrigerator, inside & out. My DSis washed walls & cleaned the underside o' the vent-a-hood. I still have cabinets that need contact paper. LOL I did have trouble with gittin' that $&%##^% contact paper in several places. One cabinet has a door that is smaller than my shoulders are wide & it goes way far ta the right under the rest o' the cabinet. Ta git in there is quite a struggle & I trashed several sheets o' contact paper tryin' ta git it in place. That cabinet had 2 shelves in it too. In the end DF took over & did the last o' that bottom shelf. I'm a nice size at 5 ft 2 & 125lbs, but she is much smaller at 5 ft 4 & 110 lbs. One o'the refrigerator shelves shattered while DF was washin' it in the sink. She was so upset. DH & I discussed it & we are just gonna rearrange the shelves & not worry about it. All in all it was quite a day. I think the kitchen will git finished when we go there back Wed.
I did git my MB in the mail before I went ta the old house.

OK that is a beautiful table runner, love the cute fabric you used.

QNS I am thinking of you as you prepare for what is ahead, you just need to slow down and take care of yourself. Thank you for posting pics of your sewing room. Lots of creativity happens in that space.

Bev so glad you are getting the old house in order, it takes time but it sounds as though you have some wonderful helpers.

Just back from the city, had to pick up DH at the airport, he came home a day early. Picked up my embroidery machine while I was there so this afternoon will set it back up again ready to go tomorrow. I have a small quilt I want to finish.
Have a great day everyone

QNS, you have a great sewing room! Though I have spare rooms I always sew in my living room on the dining table. I hate to be upstairs all by myself .... Rather be downstairs all by myself

Beautiful Valentine table runner OK. I can see why you want to highlight the focus fabric!

Jeanie, you've got a wonderful block from QuiltE. She didn't send it for approval though.......

Here's what I've been doing. Three Christmas Stockings and a drawstring bag for Mick. The stockings are InTheHoop designs from Embroidery Library, the design on the bag is from Amazing Designs, it's a Morehead design.

Jeanie...such a nice block and I can appreciate having a computer that works like you expect it to.
dubib...nice progress on the old house. Your life will change dramatically when you no longer have the cleaning and fixing of it over your head.
Anael...such cute stockings and bag. You women with embrodiery machines are making owning one so enticing. Not room for it in my sewing room though do I think I'm safe.
Mirabelle....good news to get your machine back. The pace you keep would have fooled me that it was ever missing!
i made applesauce and apple cake yesterday and the tree is still loaded! Today I'll check on the long neglected raspberries. My garden is up on a hill at the back of the property so I didn't make it up there as often as needed with my foot like it is so I've missed a month of raspberries...and this year they are bearing real heavy. A4A lesson done for the week so today will be working on something that is almost done. I have a couple that have just been hanging on.

Update on Bram: he isn't gaining weight but still looks happy and content. If he would have looked sick or not so happy he would have been admitted today. He's got one week to gain some weight. He will get more bottles a day with less food in it, a little bit of water after every feeding to prevent developing more mucus so let's hope it helps.

GG, I wish I had a garden like you. Hope you can get to the apples and raspberries soon again!

It's so hard to get those little ones to gain sometimes and then the next one is just the opposite--go figure.

QNS you have a sewing space to envy!
