So glad you like the block NinaSue, I pondered over it for a while, traditional but unusual had me stumped but then I found this pattern.

Had a busy day yesterday, went grocery shopping, got home put everything away, I always take everything out of my fridge and clean it all out every week, then I decided to defrost my upright freezer and tidy it up. Cooked Roast Lamb for dinner tonight, cooked a Beef Casserole and portioned it out for myself for the next week. Cooked the dog food for the next week, swept and mopped the whole house. Finished quilting another Ronald McD quilt and bed runner (pics later) then while cooking dinner decided to defrost my chest freezer. After dinner sewed the binding on the quilt and bed runner, should have gone to bed then but the tv program I was watching was interesting, got to bed at midnight. Boy what a day.... Oh and DH woke me at 3.30am to say goodbye to me.

I wonder why I have a fuzzy head this morning and am taking a while to get moving

There is a upside to all my activity yesterday, no housework or cooking for a week so lots of sewing yay

Anael--glad to hear they have some answers on Bram's health.

Honchey--you always get some good bags of scraps. I bet you will be glad to have all your appts out of the way for a while. Have fun at work.

QNS--praying you can find a comfortable position and get a good night's sleep.

Dublb--that is too funny...nice you found a good stretching place too.

OK--I am sure they will need to do an MRI, I just wish they would have scheduled that before a 2nd appt with the surgeon...seems like they just want me to have to pay for another office visit. Did you decide how to quilt the project you asked about a few days ago?

Mirabelle and QNS--what a great MB! It goes so well with the others.

Mirabelle--you had a VERY productive day! Wow!! I will be working on laundry and getting the house clean tomorrow afternoon as well as finishing my packing...I like to leave things clean so that my family can have a head start before I get home again.

I was able to get the quilting all done on the main part of DS's quilt today. I decided I want something different for the inner border so will pick that up tomorrow and get it cut to take to the retreat.

So this is what I have done today. 12 Fat Quarters and some black homespun turned into 12 crazy blocks, I will use 9 for the quilt and the other 3 for the bed runner. I have saved all the offcuts to use in the sashing of the bed runner to bring it up to size. The quilt I will just add a 1/2 inch sashing then a small border and it will be done..Its nice and bright

Mirabelle--you did a great job on that. I am guessing you cut all the FQs the same and then just mix/match to get the blocks? Very nice. When is your next meeting? Do you think others will have even one set done?
