What are you trying to tell me QuiltE

I haven't managed to get DH to stand still long enough today to take pics but they are coming, promise. I have just finished quilting the third set and I have rang Nola (the co-ordinator) and told her I will be dropping mine off next Wednesday so that has given me a time frame to git in and git em done

I will see if I can pad out the numbers a little more later just for you QuiltE

Bon voyage, OK.
Dubib...what a shock for the family. My prayers are with you.
Mirabelle...you seem to do well even without a deadline. Looking forward to pictures.
Carrie...glad you have set a comfortable pace for your sewing and can enjoy it. Keep check on the ergonomics so your body will continue to heal.
QuiltE...so cute. And thank you so much for the pineapple. Yes everyone, I got my MB yesterday from QuiltE but haven't taken a picture to post yet.
Had a great day with my QB yesterday. We had a regular show and tell of what we had been doing the past 6 weeks, quiet lunch, and then the LQS. Remember I said we were planning a shop hop? She has gone one better. They have a home, more like a lodge, in northern Wisconsin so she is proposing leaving here, hitting three or four shops on the way up and then having a quilt retreat for 4 days up North and hit a couple more shops on the way home. There are also several quilt shops in that area that she will show us. Both if my QBs are having DGD's in the next couple of weeks so this will be in January sometime. We'll see if it pans out. One QB has a DH who has Altzheimers and is really failing, he's in a nursing home, and her Mother who has dementia moved in with her a couple of months ago. She really has her hands full and could use some time for herself but it will depend on what their needs are at the time.
Today groceries, yard work if it doesn't rain, and more rows together on the FWS. Have a good day all!

OKSGlad ... just in case you check in ...... have a wonderful trip!! and a safe journey. What a grand time you will have with your DSis.

MiraB ... whaddya mean, for me? I seem to recall YOU being THE one!

GGal ... Glad the snails made their way to your door! The getaway retreat sounds absolutely wonderful. Your QB friend sure is dealing with a lot with both her DH and DM. It will be hard for her to leave them, I am sure, but perhaps with some respite care arranged she could feel comfortable to get away and have a much needed break.

Hi Everyone, I received a beautiful Dresden Plate MB from GrannyQ yesterday...Will take a photo later to have show & tell...

Ok, Have a wonderful time with your sister...Be careful driving up & down the hills of West Virginia...The foilage should be spectacular right about now...

I caught my foot & twisted it on the dining room chair & did a number on my right knee...I sat on the floor & cried it hurt so bad...my grandchildren ran to me and patted me all over to try to help...The 2 men in my life stayed in the family room and hollered are you OK??? Football! arghh!!! since then I'm doing strengthening of the left leg to get it ready for the ordeal..It WILL get better!!
To all of you have a good day & better evening...H.

Oh Honchey, I'm so sorry you hurt your knee! Now you have both your left leg and your right knee! Yikes!!! You take care, and I hope your right knee is improving!

Oh dear, Honchey ... poor you! I bet the Grands and all their pats helped you feel better (at least a wee bit). As for the men!!! ggrrrrrrr!! Do they send you to therapy in advance to help you prepare? (they do here)

DublB ... perhaps this could be a centre medallion with your ponies? Great price! (or the backing?)

Guess what? I skipped WORK today ... and quilted!
Another practice runner ... and have the quilting almost done.

For those of you that need some seasonal menu items ....

For some reason, I can see Honchey making the Shepherd's Pie for her Grands.
And no doubt, DDamsel would be up to it for her Kids and the Grands too!
Could also be little snowmen this winter!!

The Black Cinnamon Syrup got my attention ....... the cinnamon part, that is!
Instead I will opt for adding some to some Maple Syrup as I'm bound to like it.
Anything cinnamon ... yesssssss!

The brace I received for my right knee is wonderful support for it...wonder if they would give you one, Honchey? Men hate to have their football interrupted, but you should have said, "I need you" and they would have come....you have to 'coach' the men a bit now and then. Good luck on both knees.

I rested a couple of hours and dh came in with the mail and was worried about how much I was sleeping and if was "OK" or not. Men. Wondered if he were keeping track of how much computer time I had before the nap. Dhs are in 'training" most of your married life; they forget things, thinking about themselves too much....I told bf last year I finally learned why wives referred to their husbands as "Old F...t"...

Seems not all MBs are being 'exposed', guess we have to have patience...all in good time...take care, quilting friends.
