Yes QNS I would also like a surprize. Hope the pattern works for you.
I received my December block from Carrie, thank you very much, it really goes well with the others. It is called Paddlewheels by Quilters Cache.

Now a block that I'm thinking about for one of my grandson's that loves anything music, What do you think of this one?

will be making a queen size quilt. My radiations treatments are going well # 19 today. Hope this finds everyone enjoying this COLD weather, I certainly don't really care for it. I like warmer weather better.

QNS your generosity as always amazes me, unfortunately the oceans between us makes it impossible for me to receive your Christmas surprise parcel. I hope that everyone that does get one enjoys it immensely.

GrannyQ that is an awesome block that Carrie made. I'm going to have to check out Quilterscache--that pattern is new to me; haven't been to that site in awhile. How thoughtful of you to make a "musical" quilt for DGS--I like the block & fabric and I'm sure he'll love it. Glad to hear you are doing well.

Anne, sending our snow your way, hope you enjoy it--I didn't. I have to laugh when the weatherman says it will affect the morning commute--yay!! I don't have to worry about a morning commute (except on Mondays).

QNS, as always, your kindness shines through even these dark winter days. I would love a surprise from you and will pay it forward.

Anael, you sound like you are feeling great!! So busy!! And yes, get a crockpot LOL.

In reference to previous posts, I would really like our group to continue. It feels like getting together with friends everyday even if I don't have anything to contribute. We've gone thru so much together in the past 3 years from births to deaths to everything in between--in other words, we've shared so much of our lives that I'd feel like a big chunk was missing if we all go off in different directions without touching base in the RV now and then.

QNS--I sent you an email too, but I too would enjoy a surprise. With my shoulder I haven't done much baking this month.

I am working up something different, so If you enjoyed something last year, and would want it again, please let me know. I found two out of three things this evening, hoping and saying my prayers tonight for the guardian angel to show me 'where' that third one is...I know I put it into something..I love to share the true meaning of Christmas with others on this PC trail. It makes Christmas a little more special to me. Thanks.

I'm back from Phoenix. Had lousy WIFI there, so have some catch up to do.

Lovely blocks everyone, I love that red, white and black - I'm going to have to make a quilt in those colors!

We visited a quilt store (Mulqueens) (actually they have three of them in the Phoenix area). All their fabrics are $6.95 (batiks are $7.95). It is amazing. The store closest to where my sons lives also has a huge rack of their discontinued/on sale fabrics for $3.95 a yard. Needless to say, I came home with a "few" yards.

QNS - we sure enjoyed your "surprise" last year, we would love to get another one from you!

QNS you know my family enjoyed the surprise box last year! Another one would be most welcome. And as a PIF like Jan I have one ready to go up to my neighbor who is fighting cancer. Just sugar cookies and some of that fudge ( I hid some of it from you!!!) but that's the spirit of the season.

GrannyQ another blazing block from our dear Iowa friend carrie! Oh and the music block looks great! Love that little dash of red in the music fabric.

shhhivvvvering as I think of dublb planting tulip bulbs. Oh happy day--a quilter in the neighborhood!

Guess Jeanie isn't on a fabric moratorium. Great buys--can you share.

Took all morning to get packets ready for the mail--then a couple of kiddos for a while before I made my errand run. Got home at 7:30. Now at 10:00 I'm beat, but here's link to the finished tree quilt. It's just hung up with a couple of pins--is it even hanging straight? Night all.
