Success is always wonderful, Anael, thanks for the best wishes. Think everyone else is busy with family and friends...may they have a merry time!

'Twas the night before Christmas,
And the quilts were not made.
The threads were all tangled, the cookies delayed.
The stocking weren't hung, the pantry was bare.
The poor weary Quilter, was tearing her hair.
Stacks of fat quarters, tipped over in streams.
Visions of Log Cabins, had turned into dreams.

When what to her wondering eyes should appear,
But a bus full of quilters with all of their gear.
They went straight to work with just a few mutters,
Sorting and stitching and brandishing cutters.
The patterns emerged from all of the clutter,
Like magic the fabrics arranged in a flutter.
Log Cabins, Lone Stars, Flying Geese & Bear Tracks
Each quilt was a beauty-even the backs.

Her house how it twinkled, her quilts how they glowed.
The cookies were baking, the stockings were sewed.
Their work was all done, so they folded their frames,
And packed up their needles, without giving their names.
They boarded the bus, and checked the next address.
More quilts to be made, another quilter in distress.

She heard one voice echo, as they drove out of sight,
Happy quilting to all and to all a good night!

We're getting in the Christmas mood by singing songs together as a family...well, the girls and DH and I. DS just laughs at us. The kids opened gifts this afternoon. They will get filled stockings in the morning. It was very cold here today and more snow is expected tonight.

Just finished having dinner and enjoying the warmth of the woodstove.. DH is flipping thru TV channels and I'm on the cp...DS just left.. No little ones until tomorrow afternoon...was out this afternoon trying to find some eggnog for tomorrow morning...every store I went to was out...one place left and I'll call them before going out to see if they have any...All but 4 gifts are wrapped...My breakfast casserole is in the fridge overniting as the recipe says to do...I'm preparing a fresh ham for tomorrow's Christmas dinner...I'll play a few games of Candy Crush & Angry Birds then putter round my sewing area for awhile...make sure the sink is empty before I turn in..BUT..before I do that I would like to wish all of you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS..PEACE & JOY...H.

Hope everyone had a good day; we had lots of quiet time, being relaxed and enjoying moments together. Dh cooked the chicken and vegetables for mid-day meal, but he had a Christmas Day request for pumpkin pie and apple pie:
