    I sew so much by myself, that I forget what it's like to have others around.
    I will confess ... I do like it and sometimes feel I am almost into a meditative state ... just me and my machine and a little bit of heaven!

    And if my mind really isn't there ... that's when the frog stitching starts!
    And then, I have to switch to some easy-peasy stuff ... or just plain get away from it all!

    I like my alone time in my "clubhouse" and do get more sewing done when there aren't others around, however the retreats are a good refresher for me getting away for a couple days...and what better to do but sew and not have chores to do?! I was pleased with the number of blocks finished during my retreat in Sept and only had one block I had to rip out...thankfully I caught it before it was all done! This next weekend I will just be working on sashing so that won't take too much thinking.
