The FWS Quilt-Along Week 42 Blocks 83 & 84 Rotary Cutting Instructions

Note:Please starch your fabric especially for block 83.. Please read thoroughly before cutting. We have some newbies coming on board and might need more info on the cutting #'s I cannot get rid of the smiley!
Block # 83 Spider Web
!. Dark T # 7 Cut two 2-3/8" squares then cut in half diagonally.
The next 4 templates all have different angles. I will give you the length and width of the piece needed to place the template on to cut -the measurement will be bigger to accommodate the template.
2. Light T # 54 cut four 2-3/4" x 3". rectangles--use template.
3. Dark T # 86 cut four 2-1/2 x 3" rectangles-use template.
4. Light T # 88 cut four 1-3/4" x 3-1/2" rectangles-use template...OR cut a strip for exact width 1-5/8" (ru) x 14" use template.
5. Dark T # 87 Cut four 1/3/4" x 4" rectangles-use template.. OR cut a strip for exact width 1-1/2" x 16" use template.

Block # 84 Spool
1. Dark T # 1 Cut a strip 2-1/2" x 8" then cut every 2-1/2" to get three 2-1/2" squares.
2. Light T # 1 Cut a strip 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" then cut every 2-1/2" to get two 2-1/2" squares.
3. Dark T # 3 Cut a strip 2-7/8" x 6-1/4" then cut every 2-7/8 " to get two 2/7/8" squares.
4.Light T # 3 Repeat step 3 then mark a line diagonally(corner to corner) Take the two squares from step 3 and place them right sides facing with the two squares from step 4. sew a scant 1/4" seam on both side of the marked line then cut on the line. press the seam then open press again. Do not stretch the seam.
