Hi! I think the photo page for this week has been bumped off or I just can't find it.

I'm currently in North Carolina and the wireless signal is not that great at times...apparently last night was one of those times...the signal wouldn't carry any photos for some reason. Here's a photo of my new retirement home...We aren't here full time yet. Anne

What a neat-o house! We really like North Carolina and have talked about moving there ... near-ish to Asheville; however, for a number of reasons, we would have to win BIG in the lottery for it to be feasible.

We're also thinking of the Ashville area (my mom will be 90 this year so we can't move from this area yet). I love your house; also, we want one-level living. OMG I'm so old!!

Block 90!!! What a nice round number and what an accomplishment for all of us!! Lots of new posts of people just starting this project. I hope they have as much fun and learn as much as I did--you guys were like my private tutors and cheerleaders. Thank you!!! 90--WOW!!

I finished sewing all 111 blocks and I only have 8 more to finish quilting by hand. I have some of the rows done so hopefully next week or two i will put them all together

What a pretty house Anne!

GrannyQ, you are so far along! I started working way ahead, but it's caught up with me and life is getting in the way...but I'm done with 89 of the 111 blocks! It will be great to see your finished quilt!

It's SOOOOOOO HOT!!!! And SO much traffic. We are very lucky to live in the "country" vs. "city" and still be just a few minutes' drive from a big mall, a large selection of grocery stores, Joann's, and just about anything we might need. However, to avoid sitting & driving in heavy traffic, we have to shoot for early morning for appointments and shopping trips.

Yep, I did early morning weeding in the garden; harvested few things to take care on inside because it has been hot and dry.

Love your new home, Anne; beautiful lawn and house.

Maybe we can post our blocks in the morning? Yes, I have all 111 plus done and trying to get the rows sewed together. They are laid out on my visual board, trying to get all the squares in the right position. Goofed up several I am ripping out and sitting them the right way. It's a twist and shout time. lol!!
