I wonder if we will be adding boxcars along the way for the xtra room for food we might be needing? I will have some of those apple bites oh yes I will and did you mention coffee? heaven I am in heaven.. two of my favorite foods lol coffee is a food in my book as well without I .. am not good. not good at all. I didnt know big lots carried fabric either.. where in the store is it located? near towels, kitchen is there a fabric section? big store where to look curiosity makes me ask.

haylillan-stripes always will go both directions when you cut the squares in half on the diagonal!!

I'm lovin' the view from the observation deck of all the HST !! The food is yummy up here too!

Default I'm baaaccckkkkk!!!

Still in rehab, will probably be here another couple days. Just started being able to get out of bed alone. Doc was in the morning, will make decision tomorrow. So.... really really hoping for Wednesday.

I may not be able to get to the computer for a few days.

Florence, thank you so much for posting last Saturday. And thanks to all of you who sent good wishes my way.

So, skim for your name and hopefully no one has been left out. All of you out gave good suggestions to the questions asked

BELFRYBAT -- I know you had so much indecision in your choices, hope it hasn't stressed you out. But now that you have seen some of the HST made and put together, I'll bet you are ok.

KATYBOB -- A and B plus ?. Then C and D - C should be darker than D. DON'T use both browns - too close in value.

GRETCHEN -- my preference is the bottom photo. Dont forget - C should be darker than D

KAREN R -- as irishrose said, if she can make a good square HQT she can do this -- but it may be a bit daunting if she is truly just learning to quilt. perhaps you can go to the first mystery I did last February, I think it was, and let her try that, it is only 44" square I think.

VICKIE G beautiful!

SHADOWIRISH -- ABCD are great, make your EF decision when you need those fabrics.

ELISABRAT

GRANNAMARY very nice

QUEEN OF 2802 -- pretty fabrics. Keep in mind, f you use stripes they will not go all the same direction

KAREN BOB - great choices!
and last but not least --Good job and geat fabrics:

NELCO good job, great colors.

Judy
Happy you are on the mend. Thank you for your comments. Keeps me going with new ideas. By the way I have some spice cake with powder sugar sprinkled on top.

And to my East coast friends. Sending good thoughts that Sandy is nice to you.

I'm posting my blocks for clues 2 and 3, I like how they look so far. Everyones blocks are looking good. They will make some georges quilts. Chocolate, chocolate chip Bananna bread and cream cheese in the dining car, save me some of that chocolate raspberry coffee LOL.

I found the fabric in the section with scrapbooking. It's not a lot. But I have gotton some really cute fat quarters there. My colors for my quilt are on the warm end. A carribean blue, cream, reddish brown, yellow gold. I just love the colors.
