I have had to take short stop and work on Christmas gifts, but hope to get my quilt done by 'next' year. enjoying all the finished quilts and loving all the differet color combos. Some I would never thought of using.

To All my friends on the train.... have a Merry Christmas....Happy Holidays.

I have also taken a break putting my quilt top together, so I can make other Christmas gifts for the holiday's. I think I will put mine together during the first part of January. All of my pieces are done, just waiting on me to sew them together. I am so anxious to get it together, so I can share it with everyone!! Wish me Luck. Happy Holidays to Everyone.

I'm with you, SulaBug! Somehow life got in the way of getting all my pieces stitched, so it will probably get done after Christmas. Church and Mom keeping me busy right now, but it's all good! Merry Christmas, everyone!

Those two quilts are so beautiful! and I think I would be happy with either of them. Its been a fun ride. Mine has two rows finished sewn together the third row is waiting for after dinner. I figure sew a row together sew it to the others and its working great. Its amazing to see it growing into a quilt. two rows and I think this is so much bigger than I thought for a lap quilt. I am going to have a ball trying to stuff it into my machine for quilting. poor quilt. squishzilla tons of rolling to fit always that middle section. I work from the middle out so there are not bunches which kill me big time on the back between rows. Any other ideas as I do not long arm I am all ears! photo tonight gotta get one more row on so you can see where its going. By Sunday this will be a gift under the tree. this is the goal. going to stick with it. getter done! I keep finding something else to do so by announcing this it might light a fire under .. ah crud forgot a lighter for Steve at the market.. darn it. (see how my brain works) .. I forget everything sigh..

elisabrat, I think the secret is lots and lots of pins And as I am pinning from the center out, I keep pulling the backing, reaching to the edge and giving it a little tug. Helps keep all those little puckers from the back.

thanks Judy as I am sewing now I just finished the third row the fabric was getting heavier and heavier I believe its time to shift to the long side of my table to finish. I needmore and more and MORE pins! here is the three row preview. tada i got that far. two more and its sashing and probably more and more

I think the camera has washed it a bit as the pink next to the green is more little girl pink than washed out..
