I think for a quilt I would pick different colors, and not use the stripe. This was all from scraps

Wow That was quick Ruth and very nice too. I think I quite like the way you've handled the stipes, very effective :thumbup: . I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to using stripes :lol: I know, go sit in the bowl :lol:

Beautiful block ruth! I'm scared of stripes too, but yours look awesome, and you really put that together quick, very pretty :)
