I saw that on another article in a different magazine the larger number 100 is for a standard sized quilt and the smaller number in the brackets is if your making a lap quilt

I just started the Craftsy BOM, and I really like both the directions and the quilting squares. At the end, they will all come together as a lap quilt, with directions on both binding and quilting it. The first two blocks have been a lot of fun, and you learn new piecing techniques with each set of blocks. The course itself is FREE, as in no money at all, although you can buy the fat quarters used for around $80. I'm not buying the fat quarters. I'm just dipping into my stash for what I need, and that's been a whole lot of fun - sort of matching the patterns and colors in the fabrics, keeping track of the fabrics so they all come together as a whole in the end. "Playing in my stash" as I call it, and that's been fun. I have more than enough fabrics to pull from my stash. It'd be silly of me to buy more fabric, and besides, I'll be using fabrics I bought because I loved them. I looked over the fat quarters they're using, and don't care for them as well. And they do encourage you to use your own stash! They'd love to see photos of completed quilts at the end, especially of quilts done from a stash. So check it out! You can have fun, have a free tutorial, end up with a lap quilt, and reduce your stash all at the same time! Once I'm done with this, I'm going to try a Mystery Quilt, which also sound like fun!

Ok, pulled fabrics according to the directions. I thought it would be easy, but boy the 2nd fabric that requires 3 1/8 yards kicked my bu.. um rear! Here is my test picture to see if they all work together, tell me what you think.

Ok I think I'm in...I've never done triangles so this coud be bad. I'll have to buy fabric, but may wait a little cause I joined two bom's here and havent started those either....
