i went to barnes and noble and joann's and neither had the new mc call's quilting out. they did have the new quick quilts. i recall they had said it would be out on feb. 1st. it may be printed and shipped, and i suspect some stores have jumped the gun. they could face some heavy monetary penalties from the publisher if they have. i'm interested if anyone on this thread actually has the magazine in hand, and where they bought it.

Ok, I went to one of the larger LQS here in Phoenix and she did not have it yet, talked to the owner. Went to JoAnn's and they did not have it yet either and I asked the manager that was checking me out (of course I had to buy fabric, the Keepsake brand is 40% off and I had a phone coupon for 20% off total purchase and you can use them together! Saved $51 dollars!!!!) anyway, she told me that they will have it out on the 1st as the copy on the stand says display till 1/30. Shucks, was hoping to get it now, guess we will all have to wait for another week or so :
boo hoo LOL

I live in Spanaway, WA about 40 miles west, as the crow flys, from Mt. Rainier. Tango my cat was born in Daytona, Florida. Three years ago in June my sister ( the really odd one!) appeared unannounced with her dog and a mama cat and two kittens. My sister had been on "Vacation" for two weeks. My husband, who really hates cats, felt so sorry for the mama cat and kittens decided to keep one. That is how Lucky Tango became a member of our household. And she makes a special effort to cuddle and sleep with my husband. Tango rules the three Labradors that live here also. She has so much personality, a really special cat. Oh I should mentions that my dear sister did bring me two 20 pound bags of Florida oranges and grapefruit. But after spending two weeks packed on top of her car they had to go to the compost pile. Such a disappointment for me because I love oranges and grapefruit.

One of Tango's favorite things is to make sure that my quilting projects are well inspected. She also loves to hide and burrow in the battings when I unpackage them.

I stopped at the supermarket on the way home and they had it out! Even though I subscribe, I bought a copy. Easy, easy, easy steps for this one but not much clue what the final will look like.

I don't really know how "confident" I am as a beginner..but I finally got the nerve to buy and check out this magazine's mystery quilt! Going to "try" and jump in with you guys...if that's okay?!
