thinking about switching my 'd' and 'f' fabrics which would require an awful lot of 'frog' work.....so going to sleep on that and make desicion in the morning, after coffee.
We have till,.....like.....September first to finish, right ???

Yes the rhubarb bars were great, but the neighbor brought rhubarb cake over last night. IT WAS TO DIE FOR!!! So will get recipe and bring for the next mystery. But did someone say carrot cake? Ooooohhhhh, the diet will start again on Monday.
Judy, for the scrappy quilt, should I use a plain light sashing as the square is so dark? I'm undecided on the patriotic snowmen sashing. Will have to look at the Christmas fabrics again.

Done - and what fun! Now to decide whether to stop here and finish it or keep adding borders until it's a larger size. Don't need a wall hanging, could make a baby quilt, but it's a bit more ... serious? than I usually make for babies ... decisions, decisions, decisions!
When I first posted a pic of my fabrics one of you suggested that the brown I'd chosen for the sashing did not play well with the other browns. So the white on white tonal that I used in the sashing is different from what I first picked - but was chosen way before the first sewing clue was posted.
Thanks for engineering the train! Loved the ride!

Funny - if I had seen this I would not have attempted it - too many points, not the easy pedal-to-the-metal patterns that I usually do. But since I didn't KNOW it was too hard - it wasn't hard at all! Thanks Judy!
